  Is the minichopper any good compared to the tefal food express?

  My tefal broke within a week and then the replacement broke… I had it replaced once but then I couldn't get it replaced again because I didn't have a receipt anymore… x_X

  I think I'll try that juicer from aldi because I saw a knock-off one on tv and it looked good. Any ideas if it is any good?

    Can't compare against the Tefal, because I've never had one, but we've been very happy with the Aldi chopper.

    My daughter has disabilities and only eats pureed foods, so we're whizzing up leftovers just about every day. We work our whizzers pretty hard.

    We've gone through two genuine Magic Bullets and three knock-off copies in about 4 years (FWIW, the genuine ones last a bit longer, but not three times as long as the knock-offs that cost 1/3 as much so they aren't good value). The Aldi chopper is going strong after about a year… and at this price it's about half the price of a knock-off bullet.

    Of course, this thing is not a direct replacement for a magic bullet for most people - even for our purposes, it makes a more coarse textured puree, but that's good because we needed to progress her on to more texture anyway.

    Highly recommended. I'm tempted to get another myself for when one is in the dishwasher.

    We bought minichopper some time ago and found it almost useless when trying to make puree from vegetables and fruits. Blades just miss whatever is lying on the bottom. So we bought the one from Target for $33 (now on clearance) which also includes steamer. And this one is really good.
