Edit: AU plug is out of stock. You can buy the others and use your own figure 8 cable.

On sale is this multiport GaN charger that packs a lot of punch for it's price. It features 4 USB-C ports with Power Delivery PPS with a single port capable of providing 100W, while two USB-C ports will provide 65W and 45W at the same time and an additional two fast charging USB-A ports. Making it a good choice for charging laptops, phones, tablets, power banks, handheld game consoles and more at the same time.

The charger has a small display showing the current output in watts and includes an AU plug figure 8 cable. In my experience this charger doesn't result in touchscreen unresponsive like you would find in other cheaper chargers and overall performs fast charging perfectly fine.

Plus you can stack this deal with Cashback 20% cashback at TopCashback for further savings.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

No. Add this to the cart and then click through cashback and checkout. I've had no issues adding what I want minutes before going though cashback.

the most safe way i think is, add the item to your wish list or cart, close the app, open cash back app, click through cashback app to ali app, go to your wish or cart but click the item again to get to the item main page description, add to cart again go to checkout, adjust the quantity, and check out.

    • Thanks!

  • I'm confused why is this a deal there are many gan chargers listed with higher outputs for similar prices? I'm confused, e.g.

    • Here's a 320 one for $33

      • no brand bro dont do it. even if free for life
look at the 1 star rating reviews

        • The ones I linked have more than 4/5 stars on average

          • +5

@freelife: the rule of reading reviews is put more attention to the low ratings
same rule when you pick hotel on booking.com for example.

    • less port bro.. and the brand, bro…. not all chinese brands are the same. and the ones without brands are the worst

      • Same number of ports, except deal has 4 usb-c not 3. I get brands, but how do you know these other ones are bad? I have bought other brand chargers before and no issues, even overseas travel. Not negging this deal, just puzzled

        • oh sorry okay same ports.
how we know? by sharing and checking ozb feedbacks.

    • +1

That's an inferior charger linked. Yes it can do 100W off a single port but when you plug in two USB-C devices it downgrades to 45W and 30W. More so as others are plugged in. Given the smaller size it'll run so much hotter too.

The trick with all reviews is read the bad ones. Not the overall average. On AliExpress you get bonus coins for writing reviews and coins are used for discounts.

  • +1

Do I need it no but you made me buy it for no reason

    • +2

Hahah I was in same boat. I ordered then cancelled thinking if I really need then I'll pay $5 more to get it rather than just piling up stuff that I don't need. Ozbargain is so addictive trying to break the habbit

      • Thank god I am not alone it’s getting hard to hide my addiction from my wife 😭

        • +1

Me too, so many unused gan chargers in the drawer. Recent one is from Kogan (100W gan). But, I must resist this time.

      • +1

I got Ugreen 200w from Amazon yesterday so didn't have any plans of buying this. But later saw shopback $3 bonus cashback and purchased this 😀

        • I too was tempted by that. Hand is scratching but trying hard not to check this.

  • What's a good USB-C to USB-C cable to use with this charger for a 14" Lenovo Thinkpad ?

    • +2

The Toocki USB-C to C cables are cheap and good.

      • Thanks !

  • +1

I trust Clear, as the resident AliExpress SME, has done the vetting, hence upvoted and bought it like a true OzBargainer. But I’ll probably leave it in the box for quite sometime, until the brand gains enough momentum and popularity with no Hemix like comments, before I can comfortably use it e.g. leave the house with it plugged in 24/7.

Unknown brand not sure if it will fry your powerpoints

    • -2

Best to say nothing at all if you don't know. Those who have this have already reported feedback.

  • Geez the AI comments on the aliexpress ad are terrible!

    "Plug Type:KR Plug
First of all, the goods purchased by Ali so far have been neatly packed. Working well. I have a fever problem, but I think I need to write a little more."

reviews / comments are just a joke these days (except on here!).

    • The reviews get auto translated from other languages. If they used DeepL maybe they wouldn't be so shonky.

  • +5

Wowsers the deal has just exceeded over 10,000 clicks and AliExpress are reporting over 1000 sold 😱

    • i knew from very get go this product is good and will sell very well. hence shared.

  • Just bought this as I was feeling major fomo!!

  • ozbargained
Buy a different region one and use your own figure 8 cable?

    • Yep thats fine

  • I got $24.31 USD Inc GST, am I doing something wrong?

    • Go to deal then sign in to Ali you will get the right price although the AU plug type is out of stock

  • Late to the party but got a US plug for about the list price

  • +1

    Back in stock.

    • +1

Cheers, cancelled previous order and got AU plug for 60c cheaper

  • price gone up now ofc, just as brand became popular

Received this today. Nowhere in the package mentions it being GaN charger also the weight of the charger is significantly less than other GaN charger I have?
Is there anyway to find out if it is really a GaN charger?

    • Some brands like to use "GaN" in their branding and will slap a logo on it while others don't. There's no requirement.

The only way to know for sure is doing a teardown and seeing if you can identify any GaN ICs being used. Looking at this for example you'll see that the GaN ICs are tiny.

  • Received this today and it heats up quickly with only 2 devices plugged in. One smartwatch and a phone. Idk how it's supposed to charge up to 6 items without overheating.

    • That doesn't sound like GaN

  • Got mine today. Don’t rate it at all. Had a phone and smart watch on charge. Watch never fully charged until I pulled out the usb and reinserted. Also, I don’t like the bright lcd display or the giant ‘175 watt’ writing slapped on the side. No need to advertise the specs on the device

  • +1 for above comments. Connected 2 laptops to charge and checked the temperature using Thermometer app in Pixel 9 (Happy that got to practically use the app for first time 😉)

Within 5 minutes of charging, temperature measured 52°c. For reference with hours of charging with Ugreen 200w charger, the temperature measured 32°c.

There is a reason this charger is cheap. Will be returning it or selling it on Marketplace.

    • 52 degrees is still a completely normal temperature for a charger, let alone a GaN charger. It's even far below standards like IEC 62368 for example.

      • Understand. But for comparison , Ugreen 200w charger did 32 degrees, that too have been continuously using since morning. Others mileage may vary but I prefer to go with known brands even if a bit costly and don't want to risk with this.

        • Yeah hence the difference in price and weight. For others it's important for them to know there are downsides but it's no an actual fault with the product.

          • +1

@Clear: Yes got your point. Just to clarify I didn't tell it's a fault in the product. That was my first impressions using this product after using Ugreen chargers for more than a year now, so had to mention the comparison.

    • +1

Will be returning it or selling it on Marketplace.

I don't understand your conclusion here - how did you get from "charger gets to 52c" to "I need to get rid of it" ?

Is there some reason you need it to operate at the same 32c as the Ugreen charger ?

      • No particular reason but I have both Ugreen 100w , 200w chargers and they are excellent. Got this as a backup charger but the first impressions were not good. It got heated up within 5 minutes of use which I have never experienced with Ugreen. So for me it makes no sense to use this when I have Ugreen as well. YMMV.

        • Tried using it to charge a laptop for an hour or so, didn't feel like it was anywhere near 50. Perhaps more like high 30 or around 40. YMMV I guess.

          • @Deal Or-No Deal: I measured it and it's not my assumption !!

    • This the ugreen 200w charger? Sounds like the one to get.

      • Yes…

  • +1

Received this in the mail and I find that ports A1 and A2 are not working and not charging my device. Anyone else having the same issue? Thank you.

    • I find that ports A1 and A2 only seem to charge my mobile phone and nothing else even though i'm using a toocki A to C 100w rated cable also tried with other cables with no joy.
      Not happy.

      • Garbage product . Stupidly bought 3 of these. Have learn my lesson buying no name brands from AliExpress

  • Received my two, but unfortunately the dell is reporting them as undersized power supplies (under 60W) so does not look to be compatible with Dell. I also assume if I disable the check in the BIOS on the power supply it will still throttle the CPU (as it does with other incompatible power supplies).

    • Obvious question is that you're using C to C? Because one people don't.

      • So you are saying you shouldn't use C to C ?

        • No. Use USB-C to C to charge a laptop. Power Delivery doesn't work over A to C and that gets a lot of people.
