      Looks like it isn't. The farcry 2 page mentions a some protection like 'targes' with a 3 activation limit.

          check your spam box, i used my secondary gmail address

          it comes with 2 mails, one for receipt and instructions, another is an access code to authorize the pc to login to the gamestop app (very similar to Steamguard)

          did it process through? gamestop charged your card yet?

          I don't have anything in my spam inbox, and I don't see anything in previous invoices either. I had the presence of mind to print my order confirmation to PDF though…

          EDIT: I think I know what the problem was… I put in a bogus American address - pretty sure the order isn't going through right. Oh well.

    as an owner of farcry 3 steam version i can confirm that steam loads uplay first before loading the game, great price for a great game

      8 bucks for 3 complete games, plus extra content, where would you find that in Steam sale? lol

      I treat it like putting some 8 dollars worth of coins in the arcade to play a shoot 'em up with unlimited lives and once I'm done with the story that's the end of it, no more re-visiting

        To be true, I've played thru Far Cry 3 already anyway, but still would play it some more.

        I'm not in anyway saying its not a good deal, it's excellent. I just like having all my games in the one place, as I have over 200 in my Steam library, and have come to rely on it.

        …and its not like the Steam version runs in Steam. :P It launches Uplay and you need to run the game from there.

        Personally use Steam, Origin and Uplay and its not really that big of a problem.

          Hell yeah that's annoying. I have uplay installed just for Far cry 3. I just hope every publisher doesn't have this "bright" idea to use their own content dist system. It is bloody stupid. :)

      If you get the GameStop client you can view the keys of each game - not sure if it's a Uplay code but there is certainly a key in there.

          I've emailed support .. I think they were mucking about with it when I ordered (see my comment above where I briefly had it showing full price) In any case it lists the Complete Pack and on the site that shows all 3 games.

          @michaelTito: That happened to me (items missing) while checking out via PayPal. The cart contents of two items came to a total of $0, and when completing the order GameStop then said there was a PayPal issue.

          The next two times I tried via PayPal, my checkout was empty after coming back from PayPal. However my cart still had the item.

          I then tried using my credit card and it appears to have gone through successfully.
