Exclusive Cashback on Boost Mobile Prepaid (Excludes eSIM).
Excellent value on the $39 SIM 50GB 28-Day (Costs $2 after cashback) and $300 SIM 265GB 12-Month (Costs $208 after cashback). The latter is a better offer than Black Friday's.

Prepaid SIM (Excludes eSIM) Price Cashback Cost After Cashback
$39 SIM 50GB 28-Day $13 (Sale) $11 $2
$49 SIM 65GB 28-Day $17 (Sale) $13.50 $3.50
$300 SIM 265GB 12-Month $255 (Sale) $47 $208
$365 SIM 365GB 12-Month $365 $54 $311

My notes:

- Please note that letting the number expire and not recharging is eligible for cashback.

- Please don't deactivate or port away until you receive the cashback. Deactivate means requesting Boost to remove the number.

- Terms and conditions are from Telstra/Boost and apply to all cashback providers. Confirmed with the rep tightarse. Cashrewards acknowledged the new term when someone asked.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase, and must not be deactivated until your cashback is payable. If the SIM is deactivated prior, Boost may decline cashback.
  • Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. If there is more than one SIM in an order, it will result in an untracked purchase and the purchase will be ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges, phones, bundles, accessories.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards and/or use of gift cards for payment.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • Always return to TopCashback and click through via the pink cashback button to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

Good to know

  • Ensure you disable plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole & VPNs prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback as they will prevent your order from tracking.
  • If you cancel / return / exchange / modify your completed order, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

What to do and when

  • Missing cashback claims must be lodged within 100 days of purchase.

  • The 265GB plan has to be activated by 10/3/2025 but 365Gb has no activation limit?

    • The 265GB plan is discounted with bonus data. The 365GB plan isn't. Whenever Telstra/Boost offers a discount with bonus data, there seem to be an activate by date.
However if you are buying with cashback, Telstra/Boost T&Cs state that "SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase". They have rejected cashback when not activated within 30 days of purchase.

  • am i allowed to buy 2 sims and get the cashback? or only one per account. there was no tnc.

    • You can buy 2 SIM cards but place the orders separately for cashback tracking and payment.

      T&Cs:

Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. If there is more than one SIM in an order, it will result in an untracked purchase and the purchase will be ineligible for cashback.

  • Sorry for the dumb question, have a boost service expiring next week. Can i login and buy this now to get cashback? Or do i need to port out before buying it? Or what's the simplest route?

    • +1

      Yes.
      No.
See the previous page for ideas, or look for the dedicated thread in the forums.

      • Thanks. Planned to get the $2 Telstra sim, just a bit unclear in this thread if need to buy the boost sim using existing boost login whilst existing service still active etc

  • Welp just got 4 ordered before being blocked so its working & I have been blocked previously. There seems to be no set pattern to when boost decides not to process a transaction.

  • Tried just about everything but can't checkout.

    Different name/number/email/address/credit card/browser/time of day.

Even tried without TopCashback tracking… Always gives me either one of the two checkout errors. Boost help chat completely unhelpful, told to go buy one in a store. Pretty poor experience overall.

    • Tried using a different network? Try using mobile data and ordering

      • Good idea - just tried on 5G but still no dice.

        • I've seen people saying something about entering their address manually. How about that?

          • @asingha: Not sure how that was achieved… I've tried just about every method I can think of to manually enter, but the form always says to "Complete your address" (it wants a database-filled address).

@WowBargain: It's in the dropdown list. Type in a few characters then in the dropdown scroll to bottom and choose the last option

              • @fleetoiler: Already tried - when I select "I cant find my address", it just resets the dropdown list instead of letting me type it in manually.

                • @WowBargain: Same thing happens in all the browsers you've tested? It works fine for me

                  • @asingha: Tried Chrome, Edge and Samsung Internet. All of them just reset the dropdown.

                    • @WowBargain: Try enter this address that Boost can't comprehend:
                      Section 5, Karoonda SA 5307

It should make the manual address entering boxes appear, where you can then type your actual address.

                      Should look like this: https://pasteboard.co/AlW1O8K89Mkb.png

  • I bought multiple sims, clicked through fresh again each time but only one tracked.

Is there a time delay on consecutive purchases or am I looking at another battle?

    • +1

@mitt I just placed my first Boost order in this offer and it tracked in 3 minutes. I haven't done multiple orders but expect them to track individually similar to single orders.

Just checking you placed the first SIM order and paid for that one. Then start again fresh with the second order and paid for the second one separately. Repeat for the third SIM etc.

Can you find your click history for each purchase? Please see the rep tightarse's comment on checking the click history.

Boost mobile usually tracks within a few minutes to a few hours depending on the batch reporting. You may have to submit missing cashback claims if still untracked after 7 days. If you have any queries, you can contact the rep tightarse who is very helpful.

Edit: Are you referring to your 4 orders on 11/12/2024?

Just noticed you also bought 4 SIMs on 17/08/2024. I assume those tracked and cashback paid already.

The older ones tracked yes, I can see the click history using that link in TA'S post. It seems only the first purchase tracked with the clicks on the 11th.

I have lodged claims for the three untracked sims. Hopefully there are no dramas.

Hope they do track, using these for an internet substitute at a friends place, she is in a dead zone for fixed wireless, waiting on NBN to get her satellite & starlink is at capacity for a massive chunk of the country around Brisbane so that is off the table. We were using Belong before the 3g shutdown but since the shutdown the tower we connect to is at capacity & telstra wholesale network customers went to effectively zero bandwith.
