Hello all,
This is my first post so if I need to do some editing, do let me know.

I found this heart rate monitor whilst I was shopping at Harbourtown in Adelaide. It was marked down to $39.99 but when it scanned at the checkout it was $19.99 which I thought was a bargain. I have tried it and it seems to work. I have been on the hunt for heart rate monitor and being an ozbargainer, I have been reluctant to spend more than $100. Hope anybody who is looking for a HRM finds this useful.

If you buy this online there is a $10 delivery fee unless you spend more than $100.

      I beg to differ. For a HRM $20 is very cheap.

      I own a couple HRM, but have retired this sort of unit in favour for one with bluetooth transmitter which can connect to my smartphone.

        i am talking about $30 including shipping.

        i can get a garmen 410 with hrm for approx $150 plus shipping. go figure.

    Looks pretty similar to this one from TinyDeal for $25.53 delivered. TinyDeal has two more under $30.

    Deal Extreme has 6 of them under $30 delivered.

    As Kathmandu has clearly rebadged a cheap HRM product of unknown original model number and no way to research it, it's hard to rate it above these cheap HK ones.

      $20 seems a more appropriate price. kathmandu doesnt have a great reputation for the quality of their stuff.

    Dropped in at the Osborne Park Kathmandu shop - scans up at $60.

      I went into the Kathmandu shop in Modbury today and the HRMs seem to be different to the one I got at the Harbourtown, Adelaide branch. These are 50% off the RRP which is around $60. I assume the ones in Harbourtown and online are clearance prices for the old design perhaps.
