There have been quite a few high end headphones on ozbargain lately and noticed that the Beyerdynamic T1 is being sold from Amazon.es for 631.46 euro which ends up being 521.87 euro after tax is taken off. Express shipping (2-6 days) is ~52 euro. After conversion this is approximately $726AUD.

Whilst these headphones may not be for everybody due to the cost, they have received good reviews from headfi

    People who really care about their audio quality pay well upwards of $5000 for a decent headphone set, together with an amplifier.

    This is definitely a great deal for such a low price - however to properly drive it you'll probably need an amp costing $1500+

    Then again, the most expensive headphones at the moment (Sennheiser HE90 Orpheus) sell for about $30k on ebay

      Each to their own I guess :) I also see paying $30,000 for first class flights to Europe and don't understand it. We all have our own little luxuries!

      You can get an amp to drive it (and drive it well) for a third of that price (Woo Audio 3) or potentially < $300 if you go with the Bottlehead Crack.
