nice price but damn, look at those reviews…

  • Same price as the US steam store - $9.99 today (50% off).

    Aus price is still high.

For anyone wondering, Australians generally cannot access US steam prices due to an account lock. I had mine removed by whinging to steam support that I couldn't make any purchases, have moved to US blah blah, just some reason, and they removed my account block. Also allows Left 4 Dead uncensored.

    • Youd be shocked how censored Aus. games are compared to the rest of the world, save for japan and other nanny game states. I remember in GTA San Andreas you could smoke a bong at home and you got vision of the 'good times' with street ladies :)

      • In a week we will have R rated games here.

        • Unfortunately R18+ will be the new MA15+ and bring nothing new to the table. I would love this not to be the case but irrational people like to prohibit things that don't affect them.

        • Says who?

Are you suggesting games like L4d2 would still not be classified uncensored? I am pretty confident it would be allowed under 18+.

Having said that i dont really care as it was very little effort at all to get L4d2 on steam uncensored anyway. What they sell at the shops really has no bearing as i cant remember the last game i bought in a retail shop here.

        • Are you suggesting games like L4d2 would still not be classified uncensored?

          No.
I'm saying R18+ isn't going to let in too much more than 15+.
          Read this:

Depictions of simulated sexual activity may be permitted.

          NUDITY
          Nudity is permitted.

        • Sounds like the main games that were RC will be fine now, things that would be X rated will not. Can you see a decent game with will be rejected under these?

I guess we will see soon.

    • the most legitimate way is to get a friend in US to buy it as a gift and Steam trade you or gift to you, Steam Trade nullifies whatever aussie law that stopped Steam from selling on local shores.

  • 898% off. does that mean they pay me to take it?

  • A little correction. MW2 actually hit $4.99 earlier this year, but Activision obviously think it was a mistake to put the price that low since they haven't done it again after that one time.

  • 427 1 star reviews lol

  • Yeah, been $5 before
