    Nexus 10 retails at AU $469 (which has mysteriously jumped $70 in price seeing as though it was $399 when it came out.) this is almost 50% cheaper. Not a fair comparison at all, or did you just want to make a pun which has been made 100 times before?

  two new models, Ainol Firewire and the Ainol Captain (LOL!) will provide quasi-retina screens for about the same money…

  1,280 x 800 is fine on a 7" unit but its all about the retinas these days

  Is this really a bargain though? $239 for a 10" dual core tab seems normal nowadays.

  My Cube U30GT (IPS version) was $189 a few months back so compared to this…it could be a bit cheaper.

      The description does read:

      CPU: Dual Core AMLogic AML8726-M6 1.5GHz
      GPU: Dual Core Mali400

      And I guess they decided to label it a quad core, which is of course misleading practice.

      The RK3066 chipset has better performance (i.e. it has a quad core GPU), although I'm not sure why Ainol has decided to stick with the less powerful AML8726 series.

    Not agree with you on that. He stated .3MP (VGA). You don't highlight something is VGA if you are trying to be deceptive.

      you do know 3MP can record in VGA ?, a simple hack can make a 3MP record in 720p…, stating .3MP is dodgy enough !
      I don't expect anyone to understand these tricky methods of selling…, the same with mentioning this was Quad Core, all tricky methods of confusing and duping people.

        It's not tricky in the slightest… Just think logically.

        1. He is outlining it as VGA which is recognised as shit by anyone who played a videogame since 1990. Yes a 3mp pixel camera can record on VGA, but he is saying this is VGA as best quality. Why would someone advertise the worst their product can do?
        2. Why would he put it directly below the 2 mega pixel back camera, when a front camera is never higher than a back one.

        Not everything is an elaborate conspiracy, and you don't have some amazing ability to see something that others can't.

        I don't think this is a good deal, I also don't think he's being fraudulent.

  This whole deal seems shady. Rep just posted this for free advertising.

  Product isn't discounted, shipping appears to be free storewide (so that's not a deal) and they try deceiving us by listing it as quad core because it is a dual cpu + dual gpu then forgetting to put a zero in front of the front camera spec, ".3" megapixels to make it look like it's 3 megapixels.

  the instruction manual I received was in Chinese which I don't understand. My tablet often freezes and now it has been frozen for over 8 hours and I can't turn it off. Could I exchange for another working tablet please?
