where's the best cheapest travel adapter I can buy with twin usb as well? I have one wth 1 usb but that's not enough these days
Can you use one of these adaptors and plug a regular powerboard into it for additional sockets, or is that dangerous?
Powerboard usually rated 10 amps.
So, not dangerous if only for charging mobiles, ipad, laptop. But avoid multiple high current appliances.
Trick is to get powerboard with sockets spaced apart enough to fit bulky plugpacks.
Not really that cheap. You could probably get one in asia for less than $5. Just sayin.
If you don't want to get an adaptor in Oz, you can always pick up a travel adaptor in the UK from Poundland…for 1 pound.
why would you need the adapter in oz anyway? unless your wall sockets have UK sockets.
If you don't want to get an adaptor in OZ for use in the UK as in buying it in Australia and taking it over there…which most people do
that goes against the ozbargain spirit. pay more to bring it over there.

Tip for regular travellers - We have one world travel adaptor and an Australian 4 way powerboard.
This way we have 4 powerpoints whereever we go.
We need 4 powerpoints because we have 2 mobiles, an ipad and a laptop.
