  FYI

  Woolies EG have an amex offer - Spend $60 get $20 back.

  Then 4c off per litre with woolies spend

  Plus 4c per litre with Origin/ AgL rewards (can't remember which one gave me access). Maybe both.

  +4c per litre when buying $5 in store (I go 2L milks as I would buy anyway).

  No idea what that makes it.. but should be 20c+ per litre.

    The Origin fuel discount offer was changed on 28 November 2024 where if you stack it with the Woolworths fuel discount offer, you will only get a 2c/L discount. Otherwise, it is still 4c/L.

    AGL’s fuel offer is for BP.

      Is there another option. Maybe the EG app giving a discount as an alternative to Origin.

      I drive a PHEV now and haven't fuelled up since October, so missed the Origin offer change.

      But still a pretty good deal when stacked with the Amex offer…

      Well it would be, but I won't get $60 in yet.

        Not really.

        If you look at the EG Ampol section on the Fuel Discounts wiki, there are not as many discounts these days as there used to be, plus most of the existing partner discounts offer a reduced discount if you stack them with a Woolworths fuel voucher.

        The EG Club app appears to still offer 3x 5c/L fuel discount vouchers if you sign up for an EG Club account (and the discount is not reduced if stacked with the Woolworths fuel voucher), but those vouchers still expire within three months of signing up…

        All of this is hardly surprising to me, considering there has been speculation that EG Ampol has been in a terrible financial state in recent times.

        But still a pretty good deal when stacked with the Amex offer… Well it would be, but I won't get $60 in yet.

        I thought that AMEX offer required you to charge at least $60 three times to your AMEX before you would get $20 cashback. Your original comment made it sound like you only needed to charge $60 once to your AMEX to get the $20 cashback.

          That's a terrible offer if so (but I haven't seen a decent Amex offer in a long time).

          I won't spend $60, let alone 3 x $60.

          As for 5c with EG. That's the one I was thinking of.

            I am meeting the $60 spend requirement by purchasing WISH gift cards. My offer is spend $60, get $5 back each time, and for me, buying a WISH gift card at 8.3333% off is a no-brainer.

              Amex will block your card with multiple transactions. So will need at least 2 visits to get 3 transactions.

              Only 4% more than normal.

              I guess if you are going there anyway, then fair enough.
