I suggest you read this FAQ.
The FAQ is actually written for Ultimate / Celebration gift cards, but it also covers IKEA gift cards (because some Ultimate and all Celebration gift cards can be exchanged for IKEA gift cards).
Perfect. Excatly what I was after. Only need to claim about 5 GC's so I guess I'm OK. I plan to claim it instore as well.
Can confirm I’ve claimed over 20 ikea gift cards online without issue.
ShopBack store Giftz is temporarily not available
It is more like permanently unavailable.
Just after I spend $80 to recharge in timezone
Transaction declined, I tried all payments methods using Visa and MasterCard, anyone facing similar issues?
Read so many bad reviews of gifts.com au. Are they legit?
I'd say they are legit.
Giftz is operated by Blackhawk Network, one of the major players in the Australian gift card market. They are the same company that operates a number of gift card schemes, including Ultimate gift cards, Activ Visa gift cards, 7-Eleven digital gift cards, Cashrewards-branded Visa gift cards and ShopBack-branded Visa gift cards.
In terms of my personal experience using Giftz, I have made around 20 purchases on there since mid-2022, but only had one issue trying to purchase a gift card on there. I tried to purchase a gift card using PayPal over a year ago, but that returned error messages due to an error on the Giftz website itself. I then tried to directly use a Visa card: Giftz took payment from the Visa card, but then cancelled the order for unknown reasons (and it took about 5 business days for a refund to show up on the Visa card).
Keep saying Transaction declined
I have already tired different card, Paypal, Mastercard, Amex and all failed.Same all declined (applepay, credit card, paypal) - I've emailed them yesterday and got a response back for a a screenshot (!) even though I described the issue and the different payment methods used. I appears the transactions are being approved by the issuer then cancelled and reversed once they are handed back to giftz.
IKEA available in Woolworths from Wednesday 12th
Anyone successful in placing order successfully?
I believe the reason some people experienced difficulties purchasing these is because gift card purchase from this merchant is considered by some banks as a cash advance. My purchase was successful but was charged a $7 cash advance fee. I was able to have it waived by the bank but won't be buying from this merchant again. I don't have the time to call the banks all the time. Yes buying gift cards from Woolies/ Coles is the safer way to go. The last thing you want is having to pay fees for scoring a bargain.
If you can tell the name of the bank, which is more helpful to others.

My guess is that you purchased via PayPal. Was that correct?
Commonwealth Bank has a habit of classifying transactions at multiple gift card platforms as cash advances. If you read my reply to this comment, you will see why I say that.
@WookieMonster: Yes I purchased via Paypal. Thanks for your info. You know so much! Also thank you for the good deal, hence I purchased.
Seems pretty good.
I need about $1000 of IKEA giftcards, and 10% off seems pretty good.
Anyone aware of any crazy usage T&C on this, like only one GC per order, etc…
