BATTLE OUT OF HELL: As the immortal Prince of the Underworld, you'll wield the powers and mythic weapons of Olympus to break free from the clutches of the god of the dead himself, while growing stronger and unraveling more of the story with each unique escape attempt.

UNLEASH THE FURY OF OLYMPUS: The Olympians have your back! Meet Zeus, Athena, Poseidon, and many more, and choose from their dozens of powerful Boons that enhance your abilities. There are thousands of viable character builds to discover as you go.

BEFRIEND GODS, GHOSTS, AND MONSTERS: A fully-voiced cast of colorful, larger-than-life characters is waiting to meet you! Grow your relationships with them, and experience thousands of unique story events as you learn about what's really at stake for this big, dysfunctional family.

BUILT FOR REPLAYABILITY: New surprises await each time you delve into the ever-shifting Underworld, whose guardian bosses will remember you. Use the powerful Mirror of Night to grow permanently stronger, and give yourself a leg up the next time you run away from home.

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE: Permanent upgrades mean you don't have to be a god yourself to experience the exciting combat and gripping story. Though, if you happen to be one, crank up the challenge and get ready for some white-knuckle action that will put your well-practiced skills to the test.

SIGNATURE SUPERGIANT STYLE: The rich, atmospheric presentation and unique melding of gameplay and narrative that's been core to Supergiant's games is here in full force: spectacular hand-painted environments and a blood-pumping original score bring the Underworld to life.

I regret not trying it when it launched on Game Pass for their first year.

        It's ok nothing special.

It's very repetitive, I got over it after a while

        • Rofl are you kidding me? one of the best games of the last 10 years?

It's a rogue. its supposed to be repetative

COD would like to have a word.

16 quid for an indie game with no season passes, microtransations or yearly releases… you're a hard marker.

Is the sequel out yet or still in beta?

Still in early access. Currently has more content than the first game, there will be one more large update before the game will be released either later this year or next year.

I'll be honest I love this game so much I bought it on every platform

    credit where credit is due

although to be fair I never paid full australian price for it lol. always on sale. ozbargain way

played it on PC, Xbox (series X with Elite controller) and Switch Lite

and I reckon I enjoyed it the most on Switch. that's where I am playing it these days!

    • Are saves transferable?

      • I tried and failed. maybe didn't try too hard lol

I started afresh on each platform and it's lots of fun I don't mind

        • Looks like seamless cross-save between the Xbox PC version (included with Xbox purchase?) and some sort of mechanism to do a save transfer between PC (non-xbox version) and switch on my research.

I want to get it on Switch but CBF grinding all that way again!

          • @snoopydoop: I meant to say transferring to switch is where I failed. pc to xbox wasn't an issue

    • Interesting! Can you pls elaborate? Why is that you enjoy it more on switch than othe platforms? I would think Xbox/ PC would have better graphics & smoother gameplay. Btw I don't own either Xbox/ Switch. Just curious!

I played it on 16 inch laptop, 32 inch 4k 144hz gaming monitor, and on 65 inch TV 4k with xbox series X

but I reckon this game looks best on small Switch Lite screen, there's no lag, just slightly longer load times I don't mind, and I can take it anywhere! when playing on a large 4k screen, graphics look kinda lacking

      • on top of that, controls on PC are not straightforward. unless using a controller. Xbox with a good controller very comfy. Switch somewhere in between in terms of controls, I am so used to Xbox layout and paddles on the back of the Elite controller that it makes a bit hard to transition to Switch. but portability wins out. I think I play mostly on my Switch now, as opposed to all the power and graphics of Xbox Series X.. maybe I should sell it
