It's really the only way. Having another member of the family with the same address will trigger the automated ban, while slight variations in the address will not.

        • I've made enough accounts with identical name and address without issue, never had to use a different name or house number versioning.

          • @Jimbuscus: Any tips?

Whenever I've tried, it kept blocking it…

Do you use brand-new email address, or the gmail "." trick?

            • +2

@movieman: i use the . trick. have like 4 accounts with the same email that way, not banned yet

              • @iDeker: Is this different to the +1 Gmail trick? How does this one work?

                • +2

@Endynos: Nah it’s the same. Just your email, like “[email protected]” then “[email protected]” and you just move the “.” down the email. It will still send the confirmation emails and stuff to your actual email it just tricks the system into thinking it’s different

                  • @iDeker: Awesome thanks

                  • @iDeker: A . Is different to +….

Dots aren't parsed by email servers . You have to use + if you ws tit to be unique

@movieman: My email is on my own domain, with a catch-all for anything @domain.tld, so I have a fresh email for each.

        • how can you make slight variations of the address? would the courier get confused?

        • Cashback gone when using code. Yes $5 is way higher then cash back

          • @a1234my: Cashback applies if the product is affiliated irrelevant of the coupons. All cashback sites put a generic disclaimer about coupon usage.

Would it stack with the welcome deals too?

    • @Clear Any clarification on this?

      • One way to find out

        • I guess the answer seems to be no on my end :(

  • I’ve had this happen when family members order things for household. Will my account be forever banned or is there a period of time that passes before getting unbanned?

  • I haven’t used Aliexpress for a long while, for payment processing, I remember it used to be Aliexpress out of Melbourne and no FX exchange fees, even using American Express. Is that still the case or better use card with no FX fees? TIA!

Check the bottom of this post

      • Thanks, so the short answer is although prices shown in AUD but will be charged FX exchange fees (unless use exchange fee free cards like 28 degree)?

        • +1

Yes. Change to USD, use PayPal, set payment option to USD (otherwise if PayPal charges in AUD to your free fee card, it'll be more expensive)

  • Have tried to use this but it is for new users, so when I make fresh account, pretty much everything becomes a 'welcome deal"
    Unsure how it works!

  • They don't offer free return now.
