[QLD] $25 Gift Voucher for Select Stores, No Minimum Spend, Adventure Club Membership Required @ Anaconda (In-Store Only)

510

Check your mailboxes. Anaconda has given out $25 gift vouchers with no minimum spend. I believe it's a single use QR Code/Barcode that will appear in your email. Please don't use mine. It will not work. Must scan your code at the register in-store.

Offer can only be claimed once.

Available only at:

  • Cleveland
  • Chermside
  • Tingalpa
  • Mt Gravatt
  • Everton Park
  • Ipswich
  • Browns Plains
  • Morayfield
  • Maroochydore
  • Kawana
  • Logan
  • West Burleigh
  • Ashmore
  • North Lakes

Edit: A Reddit post has suggested that Spotlight have done the same thing but my wife and I haven't received one so I won't add it to the post until we get confirmation here.

Edit 2: Ok. I used my code today and checked with another OzBargain member who reckons it's the same as theirs. I have replaced the Rickroll qrcode with the QR code that I received in my email. I personally can't confirm that it's generic but you can give it a go. I assume you'll still need to be a member. Please report back if you try.

Would've glossed over that email if not for this post. Thanks OP!

    • Yeah, not what I was expecting from the subject line at all.

Same, arrived a few hours ago and I ignored it until coming here.

    • Same would have dismissed it as spam if you didn’t point it out. Thanks OP!

I come to ozbargain to check my emails

  • So do the anaconda register people - sing the song - when they scan the QR code? Or are they all too young to know Rick Astley — ROFL

  • Yeah I just saw this email got it, I wonder if I can price beat something in store and also use this to part pay for it.

    • Can't see why not. You'd only show this right at the end just before you pay.

  • Nada

  • Oh bugger, I'm not a member and today I just bought a T-Shirt from them. I should hand in my Ozbargins membership. However, I did get the tee on special at their clearance sale. Cape tee for only $10. I guess I can be forgiven one misdemeanor.

We only just became a member a week or so ago, a few days before the cyclone hit. We got a gas stove, and even used it when we lost power. Overall great timing and a very nice gesture from them.

  • Seems code can't be used online

    • I'll add a note. Thanks!

I don't see the offer email and I'm based in Brisbane. Offer is targeted

  • Got it thanks OP

  • FYI Cleveland store is shut. Power issues apparently.

    • Thanks for the heads up. That area got hammered, but it looks like most people have their power back.

      • The bait fridge will never smell the same again!!

Has anyone actually used theirs yet? Would be nice to know if it's a generic code or not. Asking for both Anaconda and Spotlight.

    • I received the Anaconda code and used it a few days ago.
Compared it with the image you posted and I can confirm that they are different.
      So it’s not generic.

      • The code I used in my post is not a real one. Are you able to upload your code somewhere so that we can compare? If not I'm hoping to maybe use my Anaconda and Spotlight codes tomorrow then I'll post them.

        • Oh I see.
I don’t know how to upload it.
I wonder if I could just pm you my code so you can check.

    • I compared 3 Ananconda QR codes all side by side and i don't see anything different about them.

  • im on gold coast. no code

if anyone isnt using theirs id be happy to claim it :)

    Cheers

  • Had a wander around the Chermside store today. Prices are way up there, or I'm just out of touch. Everything on the Clearance racks seemed to be $50 (boardies, dresses, shirts).

Lots of clothing with no price tags. Was told you have to scan them yourself.
More by luck than judgement I found a zipped, hooded top for my eldest grand niece. Had a lower price for VIP members (Had to ask if that meant me in the Adventure Club). Paid just $2.99 after scanning the email and should be good enough quality to be handed down to her sister in a couple of years.
Some of the others were very "fluffy" so not sure how they'd go long term.
