What problems do not exist?
It's honestly one of the better purchase I did recently.
My toddler's screen time has dropped significantly and she's more interested in singing and listening to her radio.
Yes, all of this can be done through a mobile phone, but Yoto is easier for a toddler to navigate and the act of taking the cards in and out is pretty fun for them.
My toddler loves his too - mostly MYO cards with music.
These are ok, but I wish they had some competition. They don't have a play button, and sometimes the cards don't play when you put them in - and your kid can get confused as to whether it's working or not.
Instead you get a power on/pause button, which is much smaller and harder to push.
The MYO process is particularly unreliable - the songs are actually stored on the player, not the card, so when you make any updates eg adding new tracks or songs, you have no idea when they'll flow through to the player. To "prompt" it to update quicker, you have to muck around with plugging it into a charger, making a minor edit to the playlist name etc.
This. I can see they are putting a lot of effort into content but the parent user experience is surprisingly glitchy.
Any robot mini/dog/pet deal? Seen lots of mini robot videos lately.
