does this show up in your seller hub, seller page?

  • This is great, I usually do my own packaging so unfortunately I didn't notice it until I randomly checked the label page.

I went back to one of my recent orders where I paid for the packaging myself and the option to generate a free label was still there. When I tried to generate one using a diff address for a separate sale, it said an error has occured :( Looks like it's only lets you generate labels for that specific item/address that you sell to.

Hopefully eBay does more like these! :)

if not wasting "freebie", generate new label with old address then edit PDF to new address. AUpost would still deliver - firstly to facility near old address, then "found wrong & sort to correct location" - take some extra days.
I did a few for low value items and post code is nearby, didn't try one in different city - probably too risky.

      • Thank you. I believe the barcode or QR code contains the original address the label was generated with, but I will keep in mind for future especially for low-risk items/locations.
