      • +10

Well update it to only include the bonus! Pretty simple

        Wow, quick neg!

  • +13

I hate these posts without exact price in title

  • +10

No need to be mean at OP, he just posted it a little different. Just request him to change.

  • +1

    Final price?

  • Combine with Amex offer for $100 off for $500 spend

    • Didn’t come on my Vel Platinum card.

I got it in Commbank Yello though.

  • +2

include: 1. Ask sales chat for $100 voucher, 2. use the samsung store app for a further 5% off. Final price should be about $648

    • +2

Do you need to give a reason for requesting the voucher or just say "Can I please have a $100 voucher"?

      • +1

I mentioned that I was looking to upgrade my phone to a S24+ phone, and I asked if I could please have $100 trade in voucher.

  • +2

Definitely ask for $100 voucher from chat. If you have also Amex offer saved you can get another $100 off.

  • Price in title

  • +1

    "Tell them the price son"

  • ended?

  • It's showing $1,006.85 as base price.
    Am I missing something?

    • 10% off using Samsung Pay. Detail was removed from the title because people kept complaining

    • It says Samsung Pay at start of title. Using Samsung pay gives 10% off which was linked in details.

  • +3

I just purchased in the end for $557.85

I traded in a pixel 7 128gb for $170, got the $150 trade in discount, asked in chat if there was any further discount and they offered the $100 trade in bonus code on top of the other discounts.

I then purchased using the Samsung app for an additional 5% off.

I could have gotten an extra 10% if I had a Samsung device to purchase with, but man, am I happy with this price. I was waiting for the 9a and I am super glad I got this, it doesn't ship til the 14th of April though, which does suck, but that's ok.

    • how did you use trade in code, checkout?

      • Yes, just added the extra 100 code at checkout

        • thanks, just realised that you need a trade for the code to work, lol

  • Any deals on regular S24 around the $650 mark ?

    • There were cheaper deals previously but not currently.

  • Are these Exynos or Snapdragon chips? Been hearing bad things about Exynos but no experience with them.

    • it'll come with exynos 2400

  • Did Samsung just increased the price? I purchased one this morning without 5% app discount for $217 with $515 trade-in value.

    • No, you can still get the same price with your trade in.
      1006.85 - 515 - 150 - 100 - 10% = $217.67
Are you going to send your trade in phone back?

      • For me after rechecking it, the starting price is $1249, instead of $1006.85.

        • Check that you have clicked S24+. If you click the link from this deal, it goes to S24 which is $1249 starting price.

      • can you not send trade in phone back? is it an option? do you lose bonus?

  • Anyone having issue with adding a payment card to Samsung Pay (says "Activation Pending")?

CBA Business Visa Debit already showing as added to wallet in CBA app, but Samsung Wallet said pending activation.

    • +1

Did you verify with the code sent by sms?

      • Yep, done that.

So card is visible on the Samsung Wallet following that. Just with message Card Pending Activation.
From the CBA app, it's already logged as card added to Wallet.

        • +1

I added mine yesterday and worked fine. Didnt accept the code if i copied and pasted from sms. Had to let wallet read messages and auto input the code to accept.

          • @8azinga: @bazinga you legend. That's it!

Took me talking to 3 Samsung agents + 1 engineer, and none of them got it.

@peterk - you might want to do the same. Typing / pasting the SMS code does NOT activate the card - you must let the app read the SMS for the activation to go through.

            • @Monsieurzaconni: Maybe because you told them you activated it already when you hadnt. If you copied and pasted the code, it wouldnt have went to the next page and had a message in red saying something if i remember correctly.

    • +1

My CBA is pending as well.

      • Mate see comments above - I've resolved my issue instantly.

  • +3

    Thanks, paid $542.84 for 256gb

    Did the following:
    - 5% shop on app
    - 10% Samsung Pay
    - $100 from AMEX
    - $5 trade in (random Iphone)
    - $150 bonus trade in

    • For which phone, a S24 or S24+?

      • S24+

        • How are you getting the $150 trade in bonus? Mine is only showing $100.

          • @Viospeed: I didnt do any special, the site is showing $150 bonus trade in

            hthttps://www.samsung.com/au/smartphones/galaxy-s24/buy/

            • @tenoclockfindu: Yeah looks like it wasn't working cause I was on the Education account. I have now switched to the normal account but simply can't get mine down to $642. (Don't have an AMEX)

Do they accept old phones with broken screens?

Is there a further discount if purchasing from a Samsung phone?

        • Could you please share whether the original price would be $1,006.85 for some reason I can't work out the figure of $542.84 by using all the discount promotion.
          (1006.85-150-5)*85% - 100
85% considered 10% Samsung pay and 5% App purchase.

    • My Amex says not valid through Samsung pay. Only about a $40 difference but strange that yours worked

      • Yeah this happened to me too. Tried chat support and they were completely useless and blamed AMEX. And I then called AMEX and they said there were no attempts by Samsung to complete a purchase, but everything is supposed to work.

        • I tried to using the app to pay with my AMEX via samsung pay but it won't let me
It was saying 'This card isn't supported by Samsung Shop.

So I ordered it from samsung website with my AMEX via Samsung Pay QR code.
I missed 5% app order but well $513.67 after $75 trade in is not bad I guess

  • +1

Yeah sweet, got there in the end for a 24+ 256GB for $646. Traded in an old S8 with cracked screen for $1 to get the bonus $150 lol.

Does anyone know how long shipping takes?

    • How do you choose it as cracked screen? was using the website, but maybe the app has different options?

      • +1

When I added the Galaxy S8 it offered me $10, then after you proceed further in the trade in process it asks about the condition where you can toggle off the working / damaged parts. After that the value drops to $1 but you still get the $150 trade in bonus.

So post this in that deal?

      • -1

Was just hoping to help someone who might be willing to spend another $300 plus to get a better and latest phone.

        • +1

The S24+ is down to about $645 or another $100 less if they have Amex cashback so its about $593 more or almost 2 of these phones.

          • @8azinga: Amex cash back can be used for this deal as well.
No harm in giving options for various deals, such so don’t take it personally mate

            • @OZBsince2018: It can, but your comment that it is only $300 more is a joke. Looks like you're the only one taking it personally cause you posted wrong info.
Amex deal on both would make it about $545 for this and $1138 for your deal so would make this less than half the price of your S25U.

Ordered s24+ for $507 (trade in Samsung galaxy note 20 ultra 5g). Absolutely brilliant deal. Huge credit to op for this. Not sure why people have been so negative. Only takes a tiny bit of effort to figure things out for your personal use case.

    • Happy I could help. Some people on here expect to have everything spoonfed to them by internet strangers and love the neg button 😂

  • Hmm is it worth the upgrade from S21?

    This or the pixel 9?

    • Yes, big upgrade performance wise.

  • Anyone got a $100 trade in voucher I can get by midnight? Need the code to use the Amex offer

  • +1

Thank you for the info. Traded my Galaxy Note 8 and got Galaxy S24+ 512GB for $785.

  • I managed to get S24+ 250GB for $459 using S22 trade-in (-$220) + loyalty (-$100), Samsung pay 10% off, and the mobile app 5%. Hoping Asurion will not mess things up. Great deal OP.

  • These were cheper duting the secret sal a few weeks ago. Great phone! Got mine for $645 with free case.

I put a quad lock case on mine. If you want a free clear case, PM me. Prestons NSW 2170 pickup.

  • Got the s24+ 256 gb for 638. The trade in of my phone was 10$ so the security charge was $10, can I not send in the phone and forefeit the $10 security charge since the phone is worth more to me then that.

    • If you don't send it, you'll lose that $10 security charge + $60 penalty fee.

If you knew you didn't want to send it, you should have deemed it as cracked in one of the questions, which will reduce the trade in value to $1 + security charge $30.

      • First time doing this, learning from mistake, thx for the info! Going to do this next time.

        • $10 trade value should only have a $30 non return fee. Think trade value needs to be above about $30-50 to get a $60 non return fee so wont make much difference. While you dont get the security charge refunded, you got that as a discount off the price of phone. The 10% and 5% discounts mean you could have got a little more discount

  • +1

Thanks op. Got the s24+ for 625. Traded the (n-1) galaxy a71 and kept my pixel 6 pro (n) as a spare to trade next time. 😁

  • thanks op, traded in an s22 ultra with a busted display, got
    the s24+ for $612.91.

  • I heard that someone not return their phone What happened then?

  • Messaging with Samsung Australia agent now. Ask for a loyalty discount voucher - "We don't have a $100 code as of the moment…You can do trade up but we dont have extra code as of the moment…"

    Any suggestions?

    • Are you an existing samsung user and used the email linked to your samsung account when using chat?

      • Yes.

        • Had another go with another agent -> provided a $100 voucher code almost immediately.
FWIW, I went through the web store chat this time, vs the whatsapp option.
