all time low shows on camels. actually dropped to $112 a week or two before this but nobody posted.
previously posted for $127, or 2x for $120 each.
GaN. 200W = 100W each from the two USB-C ports.

I know from reviews that this thing cannot sustain 200W for more than half an hour before throttling.
But can someone who has this confirm whether it can supply 100W continuously for a long time?
Can’t hurt to test it. Amazon returns are solid with these sorts of things.
I have this. I haven’t experienced this issue with my M4 MacBook Pro, but I don’t think I am stressing it enough.
They’re really heavy so they don’t move around too easily on the desk, which I liked.
Honestly can’t fault it
fyi if you get a USB-C power meter you will realise that most things that charge never pull the maximum for very long. it's the same with Samsung SFC the maximum is only for a few mins between 45% and 55% charge. that's why you hear a lot of people say if you charge from above 50% you don't notice much of a difference between SFC and SFC2.0.
I have measured many of my devices I charge, and when charging at 30W, 45W, 65W I never seen it actually pull the maximum when charging even from 50% battery or empty battery. it's just the spec that says it's possible.
for example if I charge my phone, I plug it into the 30W charger it came with and it charges at 15V 1.5A (22.5W). it stays at 1.5A until about 60%~70% it starts slowing down, 1.25A, 1A, and then towards the end like 80% and above 0.5A. it never hits the maximum. same with my powerbanks, headphones, iPad etc.
the only device I have that pulls close to the maximum is my Kings LifePO4 power pack, which charges at 45W PD and as soon as you plug it in it pulls 42W all the way until it's fully charged then it basically drops to 0W the second it hits 100%. it's the only device I have that charges like this basically full power from start to finish. I think it's something to do with the fact it's LifePO4.
I don't have a Macbook but I can imagine laptops charge like normal too, except maybe if you start using it heavily while it's charging it might require more power. so as Giventofly said, they don't really notice any issue. just my experience. I watched the 200W part of the video linked above is it's very unusual to pull constant 100W from 2 ports like the guy does, he basically maxxes it out for testing you can see on the machine he uses it shows constant 20V 5A.
This or the ugreen 200w?
UGreen all the way
thanks all
Samsung device owners can utilize Super Fast Charging 2.0 technology with this and a compatible cable, for example, the Ugreen 100W cable.

Note that the 100W Ugreen cables support only 480Mbps (USB 2.0) data transfer rates.
200W = 100W each from the two USB-C ports.
There are four ports though, not two.
Did someone help you count to 4? Or did you do it all on your own?
I know there's a lot of words on that Amazon page so here's the bit someone can read to you
"Each USB-C Supports 100W Max: When using two USB-C ports simultaneously, each can provide up to 100W of power, transforming charging times for high-demand devices. Charge two 14" MacBook Pros to 50% in just 28 minutes."
Did someone help you count to 4?
No, I used a calculator.
words on that Amazon page
I was referring to the description in this post…
i appreciate u

I didn't know this myself when posting, but apparently when using only 1 port it's 140W max.
2 ports in use it's 100W max each. after updating the app apparently each of the 3 remaining can do up to 100W. but if you plug 3 things then it's not going to be 100W max each anymore.
just added that text there because it claims to be a 200W charger, which I would assume can do 200W out of 1 port but it can't. it only does 200W total when using only 2 ports.
If you want a more portable Anker one that can do 100 watts for a single USB-C (so a MacBook) or multiple smaller devices $90
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0D7HB7M1N
Or this one can do 100 watts and 20 watts at the same time (so MacBook and iPhone) $150
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CJLHFF7R
I wouldn't call either bargains, but they're a name brand.
What about these 600w gans on Amazon?
Anyone purchased and had experience?
I need 2x100w for constant without throttling
Although it has plenty of ports, it's not clear how many it can power together and at what watts. It looks like it will do 140 watts from a single port, but if it's like other devices, they list the highest figure when that's the only port used. If you look at the Anker product pages they show you various combinations of ports being used and how many watts that gives. Nothing like that on this item product details. I'd be wary of it.
Ask on the product page
Look for the 260W box with display on Ali. Been using their 160W version for a few years, best bang for buck out of all the ones we’ve had.
That seems very dodgy and dangerous, it's also tiny so would throttle unbelievably if it could actually output the rated power (no chance)
it's not much more to get something trustworthy
Edit: I found a review of the same unit through google lens, "I cracked open a cheap 600W charger to test its build, and the 'goo' inside was not right" by ZDNet.
It is definitely not worth getting.
I got a 15% discount code on the Anker site for signing up. Prices variable compared to Amazon, but worth a look.
Did you buy the same product from them?
Still looking. They have this deal for $230
Anker 737 Power Bank (PowerCore 24K) and Anker Prime Charger (100W, 3 Ports, GaN)
Worth a look here too (though it looks like you don't get the 15% off these discounted items)

Amazon has the UGREEN 200W USB C Charger, Nexode 6 Ports Charging Station, Laptop GaN II Power Adapter, Dual 100W Fast Charge also on sale at $116.99 after 10% discount (applied at checkout) at the moment.
$4.99 more for more stable 2x100w 2 device charging speeds (no throttling)
Stupid question time
If the charger (or power bank) can do 140 watts from a single USB port, but your MacBook comes with either a 65 or 100 watt Apple charger - is the 140 watt charging going to run at 140 watts and if so, is that harmful?
device will negotiate ideal volt/wattage
Just be mindful that the USBC ports will not charge for non-compliant USB-C devices. This can be circumvented by attaching a USB-C to USB-A adapter if you don't have enough spare ports.
200W total and 100W each for those who are unaware.
Any Xiaomi equivalent? Xiaomi charger should be good and cheaper and they are not behind on the charging tech by their new cars.
I read a comment somewhere on reddit. Xiaomi aren't selling any chargers over 67W in Aus because they technically don't have seal of safety stamps, even though compared to cheap alternatives which are dangerous, Xiaomi is usually not a problem even without the seal.
someone posted a Xiaomi combo charger (but 67W max) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/898008 you can read the comments.
Mine arrived yesterday. Can confirm throttles around 30min mark when utilising 2x 100w. Little disappointing tbh
