this is the new release high density battery Mini version of the older 25000mAh 100W INIU.
early slight discount is a common tactic to get people to try the product and get reviews.

cheaper than the Xiaomi 25000mAh 100W PD powerbank which was often posted for $139.

this INIU is much more compact and can also do 100W PD out of a single port. it achieves it with high density battery + stacked circuit inside.
if you have doubts about 100W output, many INIU powerbanks have been tested to achieve the output spec, the tests did mention it gets toasty when doing it though. marketing says 100W in/out but imo it might be 65W in, because that's the case with the smaller 20k Mini model (65W out but 45W in) but I could be wrong.

Xiaomi 25k: ‎18.8 x 8.13 x 2.79 cm; 580 Grams
INIU 25k: ‎11 x 7 x 3.6 cm; 440 Grams (9mm thicker but only 58% of the length of Xiaomi, 140g lighter).

Also available INIU 20000mAh (65W output max) new release Mini version is $76.49 delivered.
https://www.amazon.com.au/INIU-20000mAh-Compact-Portable-Cha…

in my opinion the 20k is slightly more impressive capacity to weight than the 25k but doesn't do 100W out. the 20k does 65W max out, and 45W in.
INIU 20k: 11 x 7.1 x 2.9 cm; 324.1 Grams.

this 20k one in particular was listed a month ago on amazon which then got removed. it's now back but looks like they combined the listings of the old and new Mini together as "options" so be careful not to click the wrong one.

      • but it happened (at least) once before when I was checking it. they took down the listing. so if unsafe, why put it back up again?? 🤔

        • Hand a random thought. Could it be d****s returning the item and saying it is “faulty” to get a refund? To avoid return shipping fee? And Amazon has a system that when X amount are returned they pull a listing until seller investigates or whatever? I’m sure they wouldn’t want to mess around with bad battery packs.

          • @Pratty: by d*****s I think you mean extremely indecisive/impulsive people who can't budget properly and end up returning something they ordered because they changed their mind.

I dunno could take it one step further and say maybe a certain other budget brand isn't happy with INIU undercutting their own similar products so using backend channels they are secretly getting people to buy and return in mass as "faulty" to mess up their availability and reputation or something.. 😮

  • Mine arrived today. Mightily impressed by it. How is it so small for the capacity?! Thanks OP.

Wonder why orders are being cancelled?

    • happy with mine too. I have the 20k Mini but it's about the same size as my 13000mAh Anker. the anker can only do 5V output though it's a very old model.
also the material of the INIU feels really grippy and shock absorbent (reviewer Allthingsoneplace though says it can get sticky over the years, time will tell I guess) while the plastic on the anker is the typical smooth hard type.

  • Just got the cancelation notification too. How disappointing.

      Likewise :(

Looks like the listing is back up again. My second attempt wasn't cancelled so who knows what was wrong the first time around…

    • Thanks. Reordered. Well see what happens.

  • How does this compare to the P62: 65W 20Ah? It's around 70g lighter (324g vs 392g) and 7mm thinner (29mm vs 36mm), but charges laptops slower and has around 25% less capacity.

I'm leaning towards the P62 for travel - the 70g seems like a lot, and 20Ah seems to be more than enough for charging phones - unless I'm missing something.

    • +1

that's the one I have. it's linked in the deal towards the bottom.

yeah I didn't need 25k or 100W either so I went with the lighter 20k 65W output Mini. it's actually better in mAh to grams ratio.

$8.50 more for extra 5000mAh also sounds like a good deal though for the 25k 100W Mini.

      • are these mini e.g. 25000mah, 20 000 mah powerbanks actually has less output capacity mAH than their larger version of same iniu powerbanks?

some reviewers on amazon said the 25000mah is actually like 15 000 mah etc

        • You never get the full capacity because it's impossible to get a 100% energy conversion rate. It's usually more like 80%.

          • @wombat81: yeah but that was not my actual question..

            This is my question

"are these mini e.g. 25000mah, 20 000 mah powerbanks actually has less output capacity mAH than their larger version of same iniu powerbanks?"

these mini are using higher density batteries compared to their larger version
but they have not been properly tested to see what their actual capacity output is..

also the smaller size can result in higher chance it will get more hotter
which further results in energy loss (reduction in output capacity) and reduction in battery life

            • @pinkybrain: they should have the same output capacity regardless of physical size. the reduction in physical size is not actually "super impressive" which means these high capacity battery inside is used in other products too sometimes without it mentioned in marketing.

there was a Anker 20000mAh that's less than 1cm bigger in height and width, and similar thickness just it can only do 30W output.
so I think no amazing magic high capacity battery, just a smaller battery with same capacity. INIU also combined it with stacked circuit at the top of the powerbank to give higher output while the powerbank size being a bit smaller.

but they have not been properly tested to see what their actual capacity output is..

yes you will have to wait and see if you don't want to buy yet just wait for tests. fyi I don't have the 25k one from main link in deal, I have the 20k. I have a USB-C power meter but I don't want to discharge it down to 0% just to test it, it's not good for the battery health.

not a perfect measurement or test but for the 20k version I measured charging from 25% to 100% a few days ago and meter said 63Wh charged. after heat loss (just average 20% loss) meter showed 50Wh goes into the actual battery when charging, so make sense to me it's close to 72Wh is 100% total capacity.

also the smaller size can result in higher chance it will get more hotter
which further results in energy loss (reduction in output capacity) and reduction in battery life

yes of course I also considered this could be a compromise before buying. but in my charging I have charge at both 9V (20W) charger and 20V (45W) charging and both were only warm. it actually seemed warmer charging longer at 9V. so imo it's been designed well for fast charging at 45W.

some reviewers on amazon said the 25000mah is actually like 15 000 mah etc

the reviewer got that number from reading the back of the 25k power bank. I did write this in the first comment of this deal.

for example my 20k version has "rated output capacity: 13000mAh" written on the back. another comment of mine I copy pasted from ai shows this efficiency conversion is accurate. actually for the 25k version ai said it should be ~15900mAh output capacity, but brands will often print the safer number on the product (if they print 16000mAh and people measure 15900mAh they will complain). at least INIU discloses it many brands don't even bother to print this number on the back.

again I have no real opinion on the product other than I have the 20k and it's performing well for me so far. I have also said in comments the 20k charges at 45W max and the 25k charges at 65W max, even though the port on the powerbank itself says 65W in/out (20k) and 100W in/out (25k).

              • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm:

I have also said in comments the 20k charges at 45W max and the 25k charges at 65W max, even though the port on the powerbank itself says 65W in/out (20k) and 100W in/out (25k).

sorry I keep making this mistake of not being clear about what is charging. I mean 20k input is 45W max (output is 65W), 25k input is 65W max (output is 100W).

                • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: what is recommended charger (brand/mode) to charge these powerbanks (100w or higher e.g. 140w) at max speed?

                  • @pinkybrain: as I wrote above. the 20k model I have charges at 45W. you can use a 45W PD charger, but I always recommend going up one size so I purchased a 65W PD charger for all my devices. a 65W charger outputting 45W means less heat (compared to a 45W charger outputting 45W) which is better for the charger long term.

the 25k model charges at 65W so yeah 100W PD charger would be ideal.

Just a heads up for all Samsung S25 Ultra users:

Strangely, the 45W port on the INIU 25000mAh power bank doesn't trigger Super Fast Charging 2.0, while the 100W port does.

I also picked up the smaller 10000mAh 45W P50-E1 model (super compact), but unfortunately, despite the description, it doesn't charge the S25 Ultra at 45W either. In some cases, it doesn't even trigger regular fast charging.

These are my first INIU power banks. I saw tons of great reviews about the brand, so I’m a bit surprised (and disappointed) by this experience.

fyi Samsung SFC and SFC2.0 rely on 45W PPS not 45W PD. so you need to check that the powerbank supports it, looks like on your INIU 25k only one port supports PPS which is why only the 100W port does it. also I heard Samsung is fussy it needs to see 20V 2.25A+ PPS then it drops down to 9V 5A PPS when charging starts. you also need to use a 5A USB cable as well.

this is probably the same situation on your 10k 45W P50. it doesn't support PPS on any of the ports.

I'm having a very tough time finding the P50-E1 user manual for specs. even on the INIU website which is a bit dodgy imo anyone looking for detailed spec can't find it. you go to support>smart center> then type "manual" and it shows you a manual for one product. 😂

it should say it in your P50-E1 user manual, in the english part it should say something like "PD3.0, PD2.0, QC3.0, QC2.0, PPS" etc. if PPS isn't there it doesn't support it.

      • The P50-E1 does support PPS according to the manual that came with it. I used adequate cables too.

        • maybe not enough voltage with PPS. it is limited to 45W, similarly to how you said the 45W port on the 20k didn't work. maybe they both do support PPS just not enough voltage for SFC2.0.

  • How do cygnnett powerbank comapre to the op

    • A lot more expensive for a start

      • Ive only knew cygnnett brand, is the higher price justified?

  • Very happy with this power bank, insanely small given the capacity. Tested with my Galaxy and getting super speed charging also on a jump starter charging at 96W.

Tried with a cable that claimed to do power delivery at 100W but it wouldn't get there. Using another quality StarTech cable had no issues.

So far very happy with the build, quality and performance that matches the specs.

  • cancelled again :(

    • Mine still exists, so far, and has apparently been shipped. I wonder if it's just stock level issues?

      • what is recommended charger to charge these powerbanks at max speed?

  • Back in stock

Do they compete/on par and worth a bit extra

          no idea
this is the first time I heard of this brand after you commented.

this post does not look good for this brand

          https://www.reddit.com/r/shargeek/comments/1egke6i/do_not_bu…

Iniu and anker are well known powerbank brands
that have many customers purchase reviews and reputation.

      • yeah the transparent Sharge design does look cooler.

fyi transparent plastics yellow over time.

  • Both are back up on Amazon.
