It is indeed read high if my arm is in resting position. Can only get kind of normal number if lied down or raise the arm slightly above the heart level.
hmmm that way you are not reading your “normal” BP.
Mine has been pretty accurate, tested against the old style stethoscope and sphygmomanometer method
Omron reads high (and low) too. Amazon reviews can be pretty unreliable - it could just be user error.
"more like on denial stage and bro wants more chicken skins and beers."
Not according to my specialist who, after hearing my readings from this machine, called me in for an appointment, only to tell me that my blood pressure was great and he was really happy.
This thing was giving readings 50+ points higher than he was getting.
Massively inaccurate, waste of money.
I have a basic Omron and it reads slightly high but within a normal range still.
I bought this a few years ago, it was highly inaccurate. I returned it and got a cheaper Beurer instead.
Why possibly would you want a wireless BP monitor at home. Why does everything have to be wireless these days.
So you could get high blood pressure wireless 😂
It integrates with Apple Health pretty well.
Why possibly would you want to analyse data. Why does every data point have to be stored these days.
Not sure why the neg, I agree with UltraMarine (you're from Bordeaux mate?)
We don't need to enter every possible data into apps.
Unless you genuinely have High BP, why would you want to monitor everything?

Maybe people buying it have high BP, or are trying to avoid high BP so want to monitor trends so they can tell how their body reacts to what they're doing.
@Nuclearvodka: I was taking the mick out of OP’s comment, which probably explains the the neg. You’re right though, although I’d trust Apple Health a little more since Apple supposedly encrypts it all.

It will automatically save the readings so you can plot progress over time.
Ours reads the same as our other machine at home. And the same as a 24 hour BP monitor did.
Wireless is good. If you connect it to your Withings account, you get a log of your BP trend over time. Useful for modifying meds based on home readings rather than those in the artificial doctor surgery environment.
I'm might be too small for some people, that would lead to high readings. Large cuffs go up to ~55cm, this one is 22-42cm which is pretty decent still
Tried it and had extremely inconsistent results.
Would get a reading, sit perfectly still through it. Then repeat a minute later without even moving and the difference was absolutely huge. I returned it for that reason
Not sure how much it relates to blood pressure readings, but I've tried sitting perfectly still and monitoring my heart rate through my watch. I can be as still as a statue but my heart rate can change depending on what I'm thinking about. Maybe repeat the test with the same heart rate too?
I also realised I wasn't strapping it on properly after watching a video. I was trying to get the strap to neatly line up which affected the contact. I also wasn't putting my arm in the right position. The readings seemed more consistent after I followed the instructions.
I bought one of these and for weeks I was freaking out due to it incorrectly showing values 10 points above actual values. Returned it.
I find it remarkable that this product still hasn’t been pulled. Buy an Omron instead.
I bought this device over a year ago and have been very satisfied with its performance. The readings consistently match those taken at my GP's office, which confirms its accuracy. I appreciate that all measurements are automatically saved to the cloud for easy access. Overall, no complaints about its functionality or reliability.
Its very confusing. Some report over reading and some are reliable. I guess ill just have to try it if not good return.
Does anyone know if this can be set to do ambulatory measurements, ie, a reading automatically every hour or so?
Reads high review 🤣🤣, more like on denial stage and bro wants more chicken skins and beers.
Tbh, just get Omron
