    Kit not worth above $149

    • hmmm

kincrome reckon they are a cut above shite like craftright but they arent super top end

the above kit is ok and especially because they are brushless but you kind of want to see what this ecosystem is like

also it seems you can claim a 6 ah battery for free with this purchase

Oziro brushless kit for $179 including charger + 2x 2.5aH batteries seems a much better deal. Slightly less power in the ID (150 vs 200 Nm) to be fair.

5yr warranty plus the ecosystem is enormous & gives you ultimate flexibility.

        • This Ozito kit isn't brushless, and the drill is just a rotary driver drill, not a hammer drill

Kincrome have their Katana line of power tools. I haven't bothered checking the specs but would assume it's the same kit at this for $199.

    • You’d better check the specs before posting, it’s not brushless.

It was merely a comment, thanks for the legwork, daddy.

looks bullsh*t expensive for what you get

Hey OP, there's a 6Ah battery via redemption with this kit too

I wonder who Kincrome is getting to design & make these? i swear the handle and direction buttons look exactly the same as my 10 year old makita drills.

  • I will buy it if it has the same "life time warranty" as the automotive hand tools.

  • 3+2 year warranty for tools, 3 year for battery and charger
Note the charger only charges 1 battery at a time.

This Ryobi One+ is similar - saves $50, but only single 4ah battery instead of 2x2ah (with bonus 6ah)
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-18v-one-hammer-drill-and-i…

The Ryobi warranty is better (6yrs with replacement at Bunnings)

I suspect if you need the 6ah battery, then I think that neither of these tool brands are the right one for you :)

  • This is Supercheap Auto's home brand is is cheap asf

    • but it isn't, it's Kincrome owned. Supercheap brand some power tools SCA & also stock Tool Pro which is a generic brand manufactured & sold by different outlets under different brand names

I watched a video a while back, where a guy does a Kincrome and Ryobi grinder and impact driver comparison head to head. Lets just say the results did not surprise me. Probably worth a watch before buying the Kincrome.

    • I should have watched the review before I thought it was the steal of the century…the impact driver has a funny delay in getting up to speed just like the video. And the Japanese collet makes bits wobble back and forth

  • Bought this set on sunday. Charger has a bent contact for the battery (and I'm not going to try and force it back straight), 1 of the belt clips is missing, and the impact driver collet is wonky, the bits move back and forth in it.

Going back tomorrow. The QC is absolutely atrocious.
