I used to do a stir fry of rice, cubed spam, canned pineapple, some veg (sugar snap peas or just regular peas usually) and some soy sauce. That could be a pretty good intro to spam if youve never tried it.
I have stopped eating that processed thing in a tin long time ago.

Back in the days, actually not that long ago, in the 2000s, Spam had a range of freebies (exchange with barcodes), got a few baseball T-Shirts and Polo shirts.
