Free First Order (8 Meals) + $9.99 Delivery, $30 off 2nd and 3rd Order via Referral @ YouFoodz

250

Just in time for Easter next weekend, Youfoodz have upsized some referrals - 8 meals delivered for $10. You can pick either 8 regular or 6 large for the same cost. Click the randomiser pool labelled First Order Free (8 Meals) below.

Shopping cart after applying upsized referral.
If total payable is more than $9.9 for eight meals, get a new code as that's not the right one.

The usual referral benefit is $9.9 for six meals delivered.

As before, you should immediately skip/halt the 2nd and 3rd week delivery, and set a reminder to deactivate your plan after you've received the first box.

YF meals are ready to eat (4 mins in the microwave) and use-by dates should be 8-14 days from when you get them.
You'll get an SMS right after the box has been delivered. The box is well insulated with cold packs and the driver will put them away from direct sunlight if possible.

I cant add a payment method, reckon either my address or phone number is blacklisted. Will try and manipulate it when i get home

    • Yeah probably one per address…

They've got it locked down pretty well. Even a different name, address, email and phone won't work. Pretty sure they're on to VPNs also.
        Can't blame them.

        • Pretty sure they're on to VPNs also.

I doubt it. A whole lot of speculation in your comment.

        • I have a feeling it might be based on payment methods, as that's when it blocks it. Comparing payment methods to previous orders seems pretty suss though

    • Yeah referral generator isn’t working for me either. Brings up some private message box.

      • If you send a PM to people in that referral pool you'll get a code.

        • Thanks, was sent a code but it only covered six meals. Good enough and it actually worked for once, thanks OP!

How to get first order free

    • +8

Offer a sacrifice in the form of vegetables to your local god, perform a 4.23 minute interpretive dance in your laundry while making no direct eye contact with any animals, and lastly make sure it is the 5th and only the 5th Thursday of a month before the code will be subliminally revealed to you in a dream during your 2nd hour of a couch nap.

      Or…

"First Order Free (8 Meals): random (3)
Referee gets 8 free meals + $9.99 delivery. Referrer gets $25 credit."

Click the above referral link where it says that and hope someone is kind enough and the code they give you works?

    • Its $9.99 delivered

Australian CEO of YouFoodz apologises for expletive-filled videos mocking Asians in S'pore

    https://unitedworkers.org.au/media-release/racism-and-bullyi…

“Like many migrant workers, Youfoodz workers have come to Australia to build a good life. Instead, what they found at Youfoodz is a culture of bullying, racism and extreme wage theft,” she said.
“When Punjabi workers raised this issue with the company’s HR manager, their shifts were subsequently cut to four hours in length to avoid having to give them 10-minute breaks.”

Ms Beynon said there were also accounts of culturally motivated violence against Youfoodz employees.

“One attack has left an employee feeling very unsafe at work, while the perpetrator has faced no disciplinary action and still remains at work.

That media release is from five years ago.
Afterwards, Youfoodz was acquired by Hellofresh in 2021.

Jacques Vertommen, who worked at HelloFresh for four years until he said he was sacked via email on Wednesday, said he and others had been forced to wait hours to go to the toilet.

"We don't understand why they sacked us because there was no reason to sack us," he said.

"The environment we worked in was very toxic and people raised their concerns and then went back to work but the management refused and suspended everybody."

          That's not even in Australia.

            @payton: Same company, no?

            • -1

@Duck Mode: How does what "may" have happened overseas translate to anything going on with Hellofresh Australia and employment laws here?
The accusations are so loaded with hyperbole its amusing that they honestly thought a reasonable person would believe them at face value.

              • -3

@payton: Well abuse of employees is common worldwide since forever, so i don't see how it's so unbelievable.

I consider these issues, as management culture affects all aspects of the business. I am always critical of the way a company treats its staff.

              • @payton: I'm not sure why you're taking this so personally. I posted a criticism of the company, not you?

                • @Duck Mode: Lol if you really just want to hate this company go ahead but you can dig up allegations on every international parent company that has supposedly said or done something wrong outside of Australia.

If you're playing the morally righteous game at least be consistent, or quit the virtue signalling. I'm not petty enough to go through your comment history but I'm sure you've supported a shitty company in the past - because they make 99% of our products.

                  • -2

@pennypincher98: It's not about virtue signaling or being morally perfect? It's about informing people about issues i and other people might care about?

                    • @Duck Mode: Then in the effort of consistency you will do this with every company with some sort of issue in any country?

  • What's the food quality like nowadays? I haven't ordered from these guys for years now.

  • No referral code requests - use random referral system and wait for a reply

    • +4

Just wondering how does one get included in the list to receive a request?
And are accounts auto taken off the list if they haven't been active recently?

I've already put in a referral request.
Are we allowed to do it again in case its gone to someone who isn't going to be online any time soon?

  • +1

I received two links but neither worked.

  • +1

2 people have had no code to share, 2 others have sent the wrong code that gives 6 meals, is this actually obtainable?

    • I've set as expired, might've been just small number of people who have the upsized code

    • I haven't even received a code. I'm happy to have a 6 meal code. Still waiting for a reply from the referral system.

      • +4

You can try the first/regular randomiser link (right click —> open in private window) to cycle through them and find one that is active, which should get you 6 meals for $10 delivered. There's gonna be some expired codes in there (YF page will say up top that its expired), just have to close the tab and get another from the pool.

        • +1

This work for me, eventually getting a code that got the deal OP posted.

        • +1

          Thanks payton.

          I think I've got 7 meals ordered for $1.93 + the $9.99 shipping.

Very confusing for an older gentleman as it seems it's a kind of "open order" until the cut off time tonight.
I was trying to find an end screen to CONFIRM my order but it just keeps scrolling through future weeks and add-ons.
The emails even made it look like I hadn't completed something.
Fingers crossed I can cancel everything once Saturday's delivery arrives.

          • +1

@Emeister: Yep if you've skipped 2nd and 3rd week delivery, you'll have time to cancel at no cost when 1st box arrives at your door.

You might want to check the delivery time slot, they now have midnight to 7am now and in my case the driver actually dropped it off 30mins past midnight because i didnt choose the later time (0.00 to 7.00 was the default)

            • @payton: Thanks payton.
Does it make a difference what reason you use to skip weeks 2 & 3?
