 - why arent these things $10 now ? - Because they are made by apple.
 - Now they are items for collectors ;-)
 - I had the ones that cost $10. 2 months and it wasnt working anymore.

 - Not very good value. $45~50 for a device with no screen and only 2GB of non-expandable storage. Partying like it's 2005.
 - I didn't even know they still made memory as small as 2Gb!
 - These are the older model. - ORLY???

 - Got an official refurbished one three years ago for $50, can't see the value as well.
 - At $8 if you don't mind Pink and Barbie, this thing has 4GB and is video capable. - http://dicksmith.com.au/product/JT1022/barbie-trade-my-fab-m… - If you don't like Pink perhaps paint the thing with black nail polish lol - i got the Mattel Matchbox version from last year, only it was like 5 bucks! should still be floating around here somewhere…

 - Nice one mafra! :-D

  - are you all right? - $$$Profit? - Please show your maths on that one :).

 - Do you mean the newer "improved" headphones Apple are supplying? - Because if you are, then you are mistaken. - The newer headphones don't come with the Shuffle. Only the new iPhone, iPod Touch (coloured) and Nano get it. - http://store.apple.com/au/browse/home/shop_ipod/family/ipod_…

 - I have one and I use for the gym, the voiceover feature is nice… I dont need an screen for my music player. There are plenty of cheaper options out there, but I guess if you are on apple and itunes this is a good price. Just because you dont like the product this does not mean that it is not a bargain. - No screen equals no playlists mate.
You got 1 list, and that's it.- I know, I got one too…. and it shits me that I cant make a 2nd playlist for the gym (different Workouts). - Not worth the $44 imo. 2GB is a lot of songs in one list. - UFO, you need to check the voice over option. I have 5 different playlists on mine. To select the playlist I want to play just hold the middle button (the same that pauses on the headphones) for 3-5 seconds, the ipod will start saying the playlist names, when you hear the one you like press the middle button again.

 - IMO the voice over is better to change playlists than a screen cause I can operate it with one finger without looking to it.
 - Def not worth it, I had a shuffle for the gym and was annoying without the screen, I managed to get a refurb ipod nano 6th gen 8GB (essentially a shuffle with a screen) at EB games for 68 bucks so try look around guys.
 - imo, my sanso clip zip (??) is really nice.

I cant see any value?
