    What the ninja deal disaster?

    • +1

Was going to ask the same question!

      • +7

Given the post has been deleted, my guess is the 2 for $49.99 deal was not honored.

        • +1

          Correct. They refunded everyone's orders.

          • @Raptors: I received the cancellation email, but have received no refund!!! :(

        • +2

The deal was 2 for $75, what wasn't honoured was everyone trying to stack that with a $30 reduction code that came from some rando in the comments and people started loading up, some people in the comments were talking about ordering 10, like it was pretty obvious what was going to happen.

          • +2

@ZuluOz: Yep, gotta love the greedy pricks.

            • @Dreamcast: Lol there's no difference from one person ordering 10 to 10 persons ordering one in the company's eyes. They just didn't honor. Nothing to do with buyers.

              • @marshmall0w2: It is when that voucher isn't supposed to be used for that item.

When they do a two for one they are clearing and overstock, they have calculated they will lose an amount per order but they clear the excess inventory.

When the $30 discount code comes into it that loss increases, then the volume they sell becomes an issue quickly.

              • @marshmall0w2: Yeah I know. Still, greedy pricks.

    • +3

      2 for $50. Not honoured

    • Don't you received the cancellation emails? I got 2.

  • +2

    No more ninja after cancellations

    • +1

I agree. Should have honoured it.

    The wound is still open

    • I smelled it and I didnt bother to make another order after my blender purchase. Feel bad for others.

      • +2

Legends are those who then went onto buying accessories 😂

        • +1

Multi accounts for multi orders for multi wounds

Serious: what do people do with these? Is it not more effective to just blend at home and pop it in a bottle to go?

    • +15

I like to do it at work so my coworkers know how I'm into fresh and whole foods. It doesn't taste as good if not freshly blended.

In the afternoons, I use it to shred confidential documents at my desk.

In seriousness, I think it works well as compact unit if stretched for kitchen space, and easier to pack on the go for weekend or something. Maybe something fun for kids instead of pricey boost juice type places. Seems like a good idea I think, but dubious about longevity of this thing.

      • +1

How much protein does the document has ?

        • Extra protein if the document was printed on recycled toilet paper

    • I want to pre-prep my protein shake but but …

      • If you freeze half a banana and some milk or water, it could be defrosted enough to blend by the time your gym session is done.

    • Convenience I guess

    • Purely just blend protein powder at home. I have a different branded one that is a smaller unit with wide a opening. Easy to throw the protein powder in and takes up less space in the kitchen.

    • +1

      Lol

    • The comfort vanilla orchid is my favourite flavour in the recipe book.
It's perfect and refreshing sitting in the sun while fishing and protected from the sun thanks to the pantyhose

This review from Amazon is rather telling:

I regret to buy this blender. It has so many bad things:
    - It is not strong enough to crush ice or even frozen fruit.
    - When it blends, it's also so loud.
    - The blender is heavy and bulky.
    - 4 blades so it doesnt blend or mix well.
-Double the price of my last blender and doesnt work as well as it.
    - Limited colour options for girls.
    - Difficult to clean as the base gap too narrow.
    - Box states can convert to take away cap but no cap included.
    - usb C has no cap so water gets in when you clean / rinse it.

Overall bad design compare to my last blender (on amazon and only for $32 , half price). For a big brand like nutribullet, this is a rip off and disappointment. It's obviously the team doesnt put thought into it and make it gender neutral. Pls dont waste your money on this.

    The plus points:
    + good plastic
    + has measurement indicator.
+ tight lock and has dot indicator when it closes

Wont buy again - I feel like throwing my money away with this product and now sticks with it for a few months 😮‍💨 .
Nutribullet you have let me down.

Got one a while ago when they were on sale at GoodGuys and had a store coupon. Even sad to have paid $30 for it. It trouble even blending/mixing a banana or anything thicker than liquids and a pretty poor battery life.

Cleaning the base where the power source is located is tricky and food get stuck. The pretty colours and solid build are its only strong points for me.

The NutriBullet Flip Portable Blender (Tritan) is sooo much better. Got 1 for xmas and its so good at making iced coffee and other drinks. Usb charge, water resistant. No issues so far.
It's like $80 at jbhifi. So surely better price elsewhere.

  • Yeah, Nah. After the Ninja heartbreak, I can't even look at a portable blender anymore.

  • This one is 590ml compared to ninja's 470ml, 120ml extra.
This one is $54 compared to ninja's price $36 for one based on current deal and discount code applied, $18 extra
They are the same product, not too much difference, if you need two, ninja is better deal, nutri otherwise.
Btw, buying from Amazon is a plus.

    • Spot on !

  • -2

Nah, no more ninja garbage for me. Waste of time and money

    • +1

      Not 👏 the same 👏 brand 👏👏

  • Going to return mine and try out the Ninja one instead. This one would get stuck on ice/frozen fruit all the time (even just 3-4 pieces, not a full on smoothie)

    • This one isnt good?

  • Can also go to good guys and hit the price match button to get for an even $54.
Potentially also free same day delivery (uber). Depending on where you live.
