Despite the terms said it excludes pre-order products and if you don’t want to risk it with TGG upsized cashback at ShopBack, the code did discount at checkout for me
Better hurry before they patch it :)
Enjoy!

I did get an email from Shopback and they did confirm that NS2 + accessories are part of the deal.
Wow! Thanks for your service
Thanks OP, ordered Mario Kart World for $89 :D
Just a little something that might be of interest, the Mario kart bundle only includes a digital version (ie: code) for Mario kart, so if you want the cartridge version maybe check out the console with the code, then the kart by itself with the code as well. Also $1 cheaper this way than getting the bundle (679+89).
Unfortunately the code is a one time use per account - hence why I posted the bundle deal instead of the standalone cartridge
Ah ok, nevermind then! Cheers for the heads up.
Get wife to order the game :)
Or whip out your OzBargain premium membership on those many account creation ;)
for Mario kart, so if you want the cartridge version
Probably the only game I am Ok to buy digital.
Wishing I got more than $200 in gift cards when shopback had 17% cashback with the Westpac bonus. Fingers crossed another Wednesday soon
As far as the Switch 2 Pro Controller goes, I think I'm going to stick with the Switch Pro Controller instead. Plus I still have a limited edition TotK Pro Controller to fall back on, even if my (now more than 5 years old) OG Pro Controller breaks down.
The addition of the back buttons and 3.5mm headphone jack has very limited benefit for me, and I know that I won't be using the (C)hat button, lol.
On that note, I only just now discovered that the Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip has the back buttons.
Cheers, I ordered the Mario Kart here and the switch 2 console on the TGG Shopback Deal :D
Is the TGG Shopback deal exclusive toners card holders? Or is it an additional 10% if you have westpac
Its 10% default then additional 10% (capped at $50) if paid via linked westpac.
Mine just tracked at $63.55 and $55 respectively.
Very nice
Hope JB/TGG will match the price after the code. even better OW could price beat it…
Officeworks don’t price match/price beat preorders and don’t accept discount codes!!
When we have new xbox?
If ever
Thanks OP was reluctant on the Sanity and Shopback deal, but pulled the trigger. Just waiting for another deal as will keep one as stock firmware and the other as a digital only.
Wouldn’t it be better to use the 10% off code for those with the Everyday Extra membership?
You can't online for orders greater than $500.
Once again… BIGW isnt allowing pickup for these pre orders.
Kinda pointless if you plan on taking the day off!
I can get Donkey Kong Bananza for 73 dollars with staff discount, should I pull trigger? or wait for used ones.
If you need my permission, yes, just go buy it! That much discount off RRP is good enough.
EB Games will be selling preowned at $89 or something ridiculous anyway.
And err… buy me one too at that price ;-)
im thinking used ones will be 50 on facebook marketplace though. hmm
Idk what you're expecting us to say.
Yeah let me whip out my crystal ball and tell you the future.
If you wanna play it right now ( I mean on release, not literally right now), buy it.
If you wanna wait and MAYBE get it cheaper, wait and take the risk.
But I do not believe it will get to half rrp quickly.
MK8 used is going for $50 around the traps, EB Games want $74. Just buy it now and have fun, or wait 2 years to play it and maybe save yourself $23. It's your call.
So click and collect day 1 would be Eb Games & Jbhifi? Im not a fan of delivery.
EB games has sold out of preorders, comments on OzB are saying any orders placed with EB Games now will not receive it on launch day.
Edit, looks like EB is back in stock currently!
EB Games are well rated for being organised and customers getting their preorders on time. I assume JB Hi-Fi are similarly capable but I don't have personal experience with them sorry.
Might be stirring hornest nest, but noob here so will dare to ask. This or xbox or ps? What's the main factor in choosing any one of three?
Many factors but it boils down to Games selection (and frequency/ support to the platform by developers)
Games: It’s personal and subjective to taste
Choose a platform that has games you may find appealing
Or buy all three to experience all three.
Great answer.
Personally if you don't have any investment in exclusives/consoles. I would go for the Xbox.
Game pass ultimate is good
You can play many retro games providing you're tech savvy to install/config once you purchase a dev kit $20. (Google retroarch Xbox)
There's also rumors that steam will come to Xbox.
One downside of getting an Xbox the genuine controllers are pretty 💩 with multiple issues of stick drift / top button issues.
Plus side there's plenty of third party controllers to choose from if yours fail. I believe it's 2 year warranty for the controller (keep the receipt or register your Xbox on Microsoft to have warranty online
Switch is portable and can be played without connecting to a TV.
Switch uses cartridges which hold their value a long time so if you don't like a game you can easily get most of your money back.
Switch is least powerful compared to PS5 and xbox series X, but is more powerful than PS4 Xbox one.
I have all three current systems and young kids. As a family, we play the Switch the most. As an adult, I play the Switch the most. My kids play the Switch the most. The Xbox collects dust. I thought I’d like gamepass more but I’ve already played the decent games on it and never found anything new on there I liked. The PS5 has only had a couple of games on it I liked, after those, it gathers dust. I even got the PS VR2 headset because the kids wanted it but they played it for a few minutes and got bored.
I like The Switch because I have a hell of a lot of games on it. I put a micro sd card in it and can store enough games to last us forever. The Switch you can take with you; camping, flights, car trips, the toilet, bed. The Switch comes with two controllers attached to it which can be detached into two seperate controllers, which is great for family/friends Mario Kart sessions. A lot of people have a Switch and bought the games on cartridges so you can share/swap with friends/family. The Nintendo Switch has more exclusive games on it compared to the other consoles, and it’s not by a narrow margin either - there’s way more games for it. It also has couch coöp games too, most of which I’ve played through with one of my kids.
I've got PS, Xbox, PC and have siblings and relatives with Switch and personally I found the games on Switch to be too kiddie.
Games like Mario Kart, which is fun once when you play with family/friends, but after that it gets old and boring and playing solo is extremely boring.
I'm having issues with preordering through Big W, won't let me select a different postcode other than Port Augusta….
Yeah, it's showing as OOS in every store in Adelaide for me as well. Keep an eye on it, looks like theyve sold out at this price. Launch day road trip?
Keep an eye on it, try early in the morning, they might restock.
What is wrong with TGG deal on NS2+ Mario cart Shopback tracked $119 cash back includes the Westpac cash back of $50
Because that deal is expired?
Nice! I got the pro controller using the code and stacked with 5% discounted gift cards. Thanks op.
Pulled the trigger on a Pro Controller 2 no pun intended. Have a Switch 1 PC but wanted the new one for wake up function and I'm hoping the D Pad is nicer. Also good for both the missus and I to have proper controllers so she can kick my ass in Mario Kart and I can't blame it on puny Joy Cons 😅
Delivery only?
What are the chances of getting it on launch day?
I pre-ordered the Mario Kart bundle from.EB, but wish I got the console and cart separately as I prefer physical.
Was going to change to console only, but EB sold out
Sweet, thanks Big Dub! Got Pro controller for $94.05 (down from $119) after 5% gift card discount.
Absolute legend, grabbed a pro controller!
Used my woolies points and discounted gift cards to grab the controller plus the case for $55
Looks like I missed it. Trying to put through a delivery pre-order of the controller I got "Code is valid from 14/03/2025 to 17/04/2025"
Can get an extra 5% off with giftcards
