    I guess putting the angst aside, let’s give these guys a chance. Good idea but bad execution and planning, happens to the best of us. Probably and maybe they are working over it thru the weekend and come back with it.
    Best way to judge them would be to see how they come back and make it alright. Just my 2 bobs.

      I picked up a 2nd hand Sony 50 inch non smart TV on Gumtree for $50. Works great & full HD is good enough for me.

      Might be another option if you prefer a better quality brand.

    got a silly cheap telly from soniq last time, had numerous dead pixels, they exchanged it with no fuss but to save yourself the trip back make sure to check when you first go to pick up. second unit was perfect and still going strong.

                @ARD: Got it to work.

                1. Refresh the screen and click on the shipping method real quick before the loading circle pops up.
                2. Key in the rest of your personal info
                3. Click on order notes on the right, then press your tab key 4 times and you should end up in the credit card number section. Key in your number, press tab again, expiration date, tab again, security code.
                4. Press tab twice(if you press only once you will see the privacy policy url at the bottom of your browser, avoid that), and then hit spacebar to agree with the terms and conditions.
                5. Press tab twice(if you press only once you will see the terms and conditions url at the bottom of your browser, avoid that), then hit spacebar to place your order.
                6. You should get a new screen saying your order has been received.

                  @gaber: Thanks for the steps. I just pressed the down arrow on step 3 so I could use Paypal instead and processed it that way. I received the confirmation email within seconds from Soniq.

        Regarding the delivery, we are shipping them from our Victorian warehouse. The price is standard from the couriers we work with. Given the dimensions and weight, coupled with interstate delivery, it's not something we can control.

        Hi,

        Apologies for the confusion as there was some internal miscommunication. The price for the non-smart model is $159, not $149! The 3 previous TVs we have sold have the ability to connect to the internet and access streaming services and apps. Whilst the non-smart TV for $159 doesn't have direct access to streaming services and apps, external hardware such as an Amazon firestick or Chromecast can be plugged into the TV.

        Something we have found to work is to visit the website during hours where it's expected to be quiet. When less people visit the website, the user experience generally is smooth. Sorry again for the issues!
