270

To get it to $117, press the automatic price beat button before adding to cart.

Phone has a very weak Helio G36 processor (entry level released on February 2023). Phone is released on on march 2024.

Should be good for playing youtube videos for kids to use (won't be too worried about price if they accidentally smashed it).

        His grandpa is Walter White

  • surely this spec can use full android?

    • Sorry, accidentally looked at the wrong device specs. This one is running andriod 14.

    4gb of ram is painful…

    • Yea… Your phone is gonna be slow asf. Since apps are so demanding nowadays. General use should be fine. Forget gaming on your phone except playing soduku.

  • How does it compare to the HMD Pulse+ 4G 4GB/128GB as per the below:

  • Never to see an Android update like my old tcl 20 pro 5g?

I've owned clunky slow phones as second devices before. More hassle than they are worth.

  • Use as 5g modem

    • But it doesn't have 5G.

just received it and its 8Gb (for some reason on the box its says 4+4 RAM)

edit: its slow … correction its f slow! like O M G! if you need a phone to make calls and msg its ok

    anything else … NO WAY

    • You can extend the ram for this one.

Go to settings and search for ram. There must be a option to extend to 8GB. It uses inbuilt storage to extend the ram to 8GB.

Once you have done that, reboot.

Please do post here if the performance gets better.

        Update:
From factory it was already enabled for +4 memory
Any applications run slow as f… Just as a bench mark, OS update 1.5Gb took 1h 34min to install! (thats after it was downloaded and went through checks)

Disabling extra 4Gb doesn't seem to be making much difference in performance, defiantly not something that is easily noticeable.

Phone is ok for its use case: For kids to take to school \ make phone calls \ telegram \ google maps tracking but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone planning to use this as their main phone.
Which is a bit disappointing as build quality seems to be Good, camera is OK (slow), OS is (mostly) bloatware free (had few apps but everything can be uninstalled), screen is OK (for budget phone). general performance border line from Bad-Terrible

        • Thanks. Appreciate the update and sorry for the trouble.

        • Thanks for the honest review. Sorry for the disappointment but will save others from going thru the same pain.
