Those specs are dreadful if you want to do anything more than turn it on and look at the homescreen. Its not even worth $34.99.

Perfect for a display though. There are a lot of uses for tablets that just need to be able to display an image, or navigate through some settings.

These are uses that would normally get regulated to an old tablet, but the pace of software is such that it would take longer to try and get an old tablet working, than it was worth. And then you deal with security holes, and the risk of things breaking in the future etc.
Easier just to buy a cheap tablet

Except you're probably advised to get something better. This seems worse than the one Aldi was selling for $100 2 years ago

  • Ive got this tablet, as i had some JB vouchers that i wasnt going to use for anything else. Its fine for streaming when im on the road (blocked on work PC) and reading ebooks. Anything more is hard work, but you get what you get

  • I highly recommend you check the specs on the model before buying. JBhifi and Good guys list it as 3gb but upon inspection of the devices stats, its only 2gb. Struggles with youtube
