Bin-Die has been reclassified from a class 6 poison to a 7. So bunnings and supermarkets wont be allowed to sell it, instead you need to order from a turf specialist.
To be honest, I've been using Bin-Die for a couple years and I'm less than happy with the results. Bow and Arrow has come highly recommended and im keen to give it a try.
Have and use both. Bow and arrow is more effective but takes longer to take effect. Several weeks if i recall. You need to be alot more careful with it too to avoid over spray else your lawn will take a hit and go a bit yellowy green. It is good though.
Bin die takes effect much quicker, but less effective and often requires multiple doses as soke random weeds/clover seems to comes back quicker.
This is way cheaper per SQM.
If you don't have buffalo lawn, get Kamba-M instead, kills way larger range of weeds.
That is very dilute, only covers 1000m^2.
It costs a bit more to buy a litre of concentrate, but you can share with a friend or 2 and it will last for years.Buying from farm suppliers is the way to go. I got 500g of a group-B herbicide, and it takes 1-2g for the whole lawn. I'm set for the next 150 years.
Bow and arrow has worked great for me, my lawn in a year has gone from absolute horrid weeds etc to 90% couch.
