Segway Max G3 recently announced, $1899 pre-order price at most retailers. Plus paid delivery.
Segway Max G2 dropped to $1199, most other are selling around $1500 mark.

            @Clear: I think you'll find it's more states than that. Tas a PMD must be 200w or less. I think NT is the same.

              @tessel: You think? Your source is way out of date - TAS legalised escooters in 2021 and the 200W rule applies to eBikes. NT is correct in that you can't ride them on public roads with the exception of hire scooters.

              So it's legal in QLD/VIC/WA/TAS/ACT and illegal in SA/NSW/NT, or in other words "It's still legal in more places than it's not". The dirty neggers owe me an apology.

                @Clear: I stand corrected although in Tasmania if you are under 16 you are limited to 200 watts and 10km/h. Plenty of kids riding around on them fall into that category. However, you are the one who brought up legal in more places than not, which wasn't what I or others were discussing.

                The original post said prepare for fines, then NSW was mentioned, now SA. So, yes, they aren't legal everywhere. If someone lives in NSW or SA then it doesnty matter if it's legal in more states than not. You brought that up, no-one else.

                And, holy shit mate are you ok? I'm genuinely asking this. You really seem triggered by a simple comment pointing out these are illegal in some states and not legal everywhere. Which is absolutely true.

                  Every single time there's an escooter post there's someone from NSW or another nanny state who says something along the lines of it being "illegal". Forgetting that they're legal in more places in Australia than they're not.

                  I am triggered by those who believe the road rules of their state apply to all states and territories.

        They have an alarm built in as well as Apple Find My. If they aren't unlocked with the app or with a pin via the scooter controls it also applies the brakes while the siren goes off. (This is for the G2 and I assume the G3 has the same…) My G2 is brilliant. Had a cheap one before (got nicked). Accelleration and suspension on the G2 is brilliant.

    are these really a single motor? and claim 30% hill climb? oh BS, unless they're been ridden by a cat.

    if you've got decent hills (more rhen 50m), dual motor is what you need.
