5DOLLARS is an older code that appears to still be working. If you're lucky you may be able to claim both codes for US$7.50 credit.
US$3.75 should get you ~1.5GB of data depending on the country.
Should stack with: Free US$1.25 Credit for Travel eSIM with No Expiry of Data (Worth up to 500MB in Europe) @ Roamless.
Try code FREE TRIAL for an extra US$1 credit with 1-month expiry.
We used this mob for a trip through Italy and France last year. We found it worked very well. We had previously bought destination specific sims which were OK, but we always ended up buying more GB's than we needed.
Couple of advantages of this style.
1. You can try it before you leave (Australia is a covered country)
2. You only pay for what you use. For the two eSims we got, we paid probably half what we would have spent with our previous suppliers (eg: Travelkon-liked Travelkon but this was a better fit for us going forward) once we used all the various promotions (PM me for our referral code if you like!) and we have stacks of credit left over for our next trip.
3. They seem to have multiple carriers available in each country. Crossing borders, it just changed without any reset, and even within a country, it changed providers depending on signal quality.
4. Some countries are a bit expensive (eg: Singapore) but it was handy to have access during transits (yes, there is usually free wifi, but sometimes it can be a bit fickle). Used up a couple of cents on the account for the couple of hours in each direction, but worth it for the convenience. Once again, you only end up paying for what you use.
5. Recharge is easy via website or through app. Minimum recharge was USD5.
6. Data only but you can do outgoing calls through their app. Effectively calls are made from the USA I believe. They did say at some time they will provide inbound number option but I don't think that is happening any time soon. I've found most accommodation providers are happy to use WhatsApp or equivalent.
Overall, our experience was a very positive one.
