with how good free scanning/splatting mobile apps are getting, probably only business users can justify this.

check out scaniverse (limited free) and KIRI engine (paid/other ways).

Have to agree especially if you have an iphone with lidar.

      Its quite time consuming though.

I doubt sny serious business woudl consider one of these, its very much a consumer grade product.

  • Anyone one have any experience with this or other scanners? Worth it?

    • +2

I dont and i wouldnt trust most youtube reviews alot of them are like paid informercials almost. They keep being good to creality and creality keeps sending them products to review.

The reason i looked into this one was purely based on scouring reddit posts.

From what i can gather its a very capable scanner, but the biggest mistake people make is thinking that there isnt a learning curve to using.

    • We have one at work and would not recommend.

The software requires elevated privileges to run each time - not just at installation. Makes it not practical for corporate users and home users who care about security.

  • I've had the lizard since launch, bit clunky and very time consuming, depending what you are doing and how you are doing it. But it's very functional and accurate.

I imagine this is a massive improvement in all areas including software and user experience.

  • Appreciate the edits to the title but where are they getting the $934.15 price still shows as $1099 for me?

    • +1

$934.15 is the final price with the 15% off code APL15 and if you have eBay plus, $879.20 is the final price with the 20% off code APL20

  • Outstanding price. I was tempted to get the raptor with the 20% off at $1.4k but want ahead with the otter. See you at scanhub!
