Damn just missed
Item Weight 205 g
Not the lightest!!
Does anyone have one of these / successfully purchased the deal? (OP?)
Can you confirm how thick this powerbank is? Listing says "0.5 inch", but then says 1.9cm thick. Which is most definitely not the slimmest powerbank!
But elsewhere, I see dimensions given as 1.27cm…which would be pretty thin!
Doesnt look all that thin to me (looks like 1.9cm!). Would be goos if someone can confirm (for future deals).
Edit: Definitely looks like a chonky boi (1.9cm for sure!)
I have just received mine. Dimensions for future reference are: 132mm x 70mm x 14mm thick. Edges are rounded so it feels slightly smaller than it is.
Weight of the power bank is 198 grams. Product also comes with a neoprene carry bag and a USB-A to USB-C cable which together weigh 18 grams.
Thats actually not bad - my current 10k powerbank (an old Kogan one) is 13.5mm thick, which is pretty nice. This is not much thicker, and would make a decent replacement.
Will keep a look out for future deals. Cheers!
"3A", "High speed" these terms are meaningless.
Very deceptive description, they deliberately hide the spec regarding V and W.
From one Amazon review it's only 3A5V=15W at peak.
Not high speed at all.
Most people just want a faster charge & less time connected to the thing rather than extremely marginal longevity gains when using a ~$20 power bank
If this is being marketed as high speed, might as well also say that a floppy disk has high storage capacity.
Fast charging: imagine being able to charge your phone in 1hr, for your consideration, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16381829/redir
@Caped Baldy: Not sure if people understand my comments?
They've released phones (not power-bank) that can be charge in 1hr, eg Moto-Edge-50-Pro & co, https://www.phonearena.com/news/Phones-fast-charging-speeds-…
That preference has consequence.
@WowBargain,
marginal longevity gains when using a ~$20 power bank
FACT-check: install AccuBattery-APP & observe the EXTRA-heat generated from faster-charge…especially in summer & even better, max. it out? Also, note the voltage-increase as you're heading toward full charge. Then observe the battery-health noted by that-AP. https://batteryuniversity.com/article/bu-808-how-to-prolong-….
If this is being marketed as high speed
Many manufacturers exaggerate &/or MIS-represent with careful use of words. Paid & bias reviews regurgitate the SAME-information, lol.
For mobile phone charging, this power-bank output the same 15W (5V@3A) as per their 22.5W unit: max. output [email protected], https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/899350
"High speed" these terms are meaningless.
Wow, congrats on discovering marketing!
Since you've given the deal a neg, do you have any similarly priced suggestions? Or cheaper alternatives? … or are you upset that a $13 power bank doesn't have enough juice to power a gaming laptop?
Bah! Quick and the dead with these powerbank deals.
And where, where can I get my hands on one?
