Plenty of alternative builds available for the falcon, though most instructions cost around ~USD$5-7. You got stuff like Metal Gear Rex, Robocop and ED-209, or Mechagodzilla. Personally, I'm considering it for the mini Death Star II.
The arc fighter doesn't look very good sadly, there's mocs that mog it.
