I have one of these and a cole clark AN. The CC is nicer but I would have no qualms if the yamaha was my only guitar

    • Hows the action? My current acoustic action is massive and just gross to play

      • +2

It's not that hard to adjust the action on an acoustic

Start by checking the truss rod, then the nut height, and then if you still need to you can trim down the saddle with sand paper
Find videos and take your time
        - really satisfying to turn a hound in to something fun to play

        • Thanks for your detailed reply. I'll do just that

          Cheers

      • Never noticed, but having said that I do play some very old spanish guitars which are horrible for that but I guess if you get used to that a more modern acoustic is no problem.

      • Your local luthier will be able to fix this for you.

Any music shops close by? They should be able to point you in the right direction, maybe even address it for you too.

Heard this was a slow guitar.. often played by weasels

    • +2

You can always scare the weasels away with some toblerone

    • Great to play after a long round of golf with a new expensive buggy haha.

  • Is it true Yamahas are naturally slow compared to most other guitars?
