Yep, the flavours are horrid. I’d be interested what a standard non flavoured vodka would taste like be the flavoured you’re basically gagging every sip unfortunately
And which rum was it you reckon you had - the medals listed on their site would indicate that your taste might be different from some pretty prestigious competitions?
I bought some last year, and thought it was pretty good - but I like agricole rum

I purchased 6 bottles of vodka and gin prior to Xmas last year. Only 4 arrived, they never replied to my emails or when I tried contacting them via their social media. I would avoid.
Consider yourself lucky you don’t need to drink it
I had a similar experience except they finally replied after many attempts and refunded me the missing bottles. Refused to reship or provide me free shipping if I ordered again. I liked the flavoured vodka(didn't try this flavour, sounds gross), but their customer service is garbage.

The gin is good. Especially the salt breeze and forest. Have ordered a few times at this price with friends. I'm getting picky with gin and whisky and these are good value.

Note the OP has made a slight mistake. It is Queenslander botanical vodka, not gin 700ml.
All their gin is 500ml only.
I'd propose the distillery has made the mistake in that a botanical vodka is actually gin.

Vodka strives to be tasteless, odourless. Gin adds botanicals, including juniper.

Vodka is just ethanol and water. And if you are used to buying a neutral vodka from a bottle shop - they are all basically identical.
Gin needs Juniper to be called a gin, and usually has an assortment of other botanicals.
Botanical Vodka is a neutral vodka distilled with botanicals - one of which is not juniper (otherwise it would be gin)

I haven't tried their rum, but I wouldn't be surprised. They have 'rhum' which, unfortunately I have tried; it's nasty.

Botanical vodka is vodka distilled through Botanics which is how gin is made and their gin tastes like Vodka with artificial essence added not a proper Gin which has been distilled. I ordered the last offer of 10 500ml bottles of Gin varying flavours .. Very crude and artificial. 25 bucks even for flavoured vodka is a great deal for 700 ml but I reckon it will be the same as the Gin in terms of taste.

So if it's no skin off your back why did you blow in here with unfounded guesses disparaging an Australian business. Just look at those comments on the Facebook ad - seems pretty wide spread approval of their product?

@shaidas: I only referenced the comments because there are hundreds of them saying that it's good stuff. You seem to be of a different "opinion" or are you a competitor? Everything on their website would indicate that they distil using botanicals in a copper still. What artificial essence are you referring to? What experience or analysis have you got to indicate that it's artificial?
Considering the comparatively tiny cost of the liquid compared to the huge amount of excise etc, I'm not even sure there could be an artificial way to make it cheaper - I've recently done their Gin School, perhaps you should too?

I have been distilling Vodka and Gin going on 20 years now so I have a different palate than you maybe or maybe I should attend the Gin school run by a company that sells Gin and get myself more educated ..no one knows the definitive answer.. neither you and definitely not me

I have placed a handful of orders for their vodka. Haven't tried this flavour as I'm not an anise fan, but I liked the other flavours. However, if there is any problem, their customer service is pathetic and they will try wash their hands of any responsibility.
I bought the gins in the last batch - not great, botanticals a bit overpowering like star anise in one of them. Not rushing back to buy more.
Surely 8 of January is not correct!? It says in stock… but then the click to buy is preorder. Seems about long enough that, when it doesn't arrive a) you'll forget about it and b) you'll miss the chargeback window. Bogus!
I bought this stuff on the last deal. I do not recommend and I'm not a picky drinker who drinks XXXX Gold when I'm out as it's the cheapest beer on tap. They taste like soap. It's so bad I ended up pouring it down the drain.
What flavour did you buy?
Tropical Lemonade Botanical Vodka and Queenslander Botanical Vodka. The latter being particularly bad
I found their rum and vodka almost undrinkable. Even very dilute. Expect quality matched to price.
