    I bought this from the previous deal, but the warranty is only 2 years and it doesnt cover battery degradation. From my previous roborock, my main issue was battery degradation. And for this new one, it took almost 80% battery to do whole mopping and vacuuming once. So dont know after sometime, it will hold charge to do whole house. Anyone concerned about that issue? Also how does other makes perform ?

      I have an S8 and your comment made me have a look.

      Replacements seem to be available for a reasonable price, if it keeps the vacuum going for some years.

      80% battery? You must have big house haha! Or is it the vac and map at the same time that uses a lot of energy?

        it is the vacuum and mop at the same time. No only a small house single storey single garage :). Is it normal to have a 80% drop in that case.

          I have a small 2-br unit with an original Xiaomi and a newer Lubluelu SL60 unit that will eventually replace the Xiaomi.

          The Xiaomi does max suction vacuum only.
          The Lubluelu does max suction vacuum and mops 40% of the floor.

          Both use approx 70% battery each. Based on that, I think your 80% for both vacuum & mop is reasonable.

    The Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat is also on sale for $1200 at JB, seems similar to the Edge C, maybe not quite as good at vacuuming.

    If you can get gift cards at a discount this is also available at JB and Good Guys for this price.

    this is the normal price for this model. I wonder what will happen to all the stock destined for the US as Roborock has removed most of their listings in Amazon US.

      Do you mean the discount is a bit BS. I would agree that the discounted price is probably where this one should be priced. The other one I've been looking at and is currently $150-300 more is the Ecovacs Deebot T50 Max Pro Omni. It's the one that is currently rated as the best premium robot vacuum on the robot wars website. The Roborock Qrevo Edge (not the C / S5A) is 7th on their list.
