  • what about the maxi cosi halo 360

This comment is made for those on this platform..I wish you the very best 🤣

      • im lazy and want convenience vs cheapness

        • +1

Man posts a sale for a midrange car seat been on the market for some time, and you’re out here shameless with your request for a deal on a 4 week old flagship

  • Im really interested in this seat but can’t find it anywhere for sale to test sizing like I can at baby bunting with the competitor Britax graphene EA or Maxi Cosi pria.

Returns policy has a 20% restocking fee so it’s a bit of a risk given there don’t seem to be any brick and mortar shops in Melbourne selling it. Anyone else been able to track one down?

    • The infasecure attain and Quattro are the same seat basically so you could try to find an Attain.

I’ve just bought a maxi cosi pria, we decided it was worth the extra money for the easy access due to the smart guide for the top tether.

      • I’ve seen that on the Pria but my main drawcard for the infasecure models was the crash tested pee pad thing which was supposed to be pretty useful come potty training.

How is your Pria going? I’m less inclined to pay extra for fitment related features because we only have one car so once the seat is in it won’t be moving. What’s your thoughts?

        • I think the smart guide is more so the top tether is not in the way every time you place the child in/out of it. So you never need to disconnect/retighten or anything whereas when in rear facing mode you probably do on other seats whilst very young.

I'm needing to buy a seat asap too so still trying to get my head around this stuff.

          • @Xizor: Ah yes you are right. I just watched a vid that does seem very handy.

            • @Gonltruck: For what its worth, the isofix version seems to be unneccessary cost if not moving seat between cars. Im leaning towards the Pria lx or gcell without isofix at the moment, as first time parents that does seem like a meaningful convenience… plenty of other things can skimp on to save some coin but not pulled the trigger yet.

              • @Xizor: Agree. I’m indifferent about the isofix given I won’t move it

              • @Xizor: Same here, keeping an eye out for discounts on the maxi cosi Pria lx love the design and features of this thing! Come on eofy sale please 😂

        • Just installed the pria yesterday so early days. But having tussled with the top tether on our capsule for the past four months I’m very happy to not have to deal with that anymore.

The isofix is not really worth the extra money, even if you are moving the seat every now and then, the seat belt system on the pria is intuitive and easy to use.

We're hopefully going to get many years of use out of the baby seat so the extra $$ for the pria should be worth it.

  • Was going to go the Joie asset spin, anyone got an opinion on that

    • Not extended rear-facing. I would pay more for the Halo (which is ERF).

(If you cant affird the Halo and dont care about extended rear facing, I guess it would be fine.)
