From the previous deal: This looks to be a promotional item and in limited stores, The bargain in this deal is that it includes the new sealed 3.0AH battery which is $79.98 on its own.

Good deal, maybe add the states to the title.

  • OOS in SA.

    3.0AH battery which is $79.98

FYI, a 3-pack of 4Ah is $99, and I'm seeing plenty of stock.

    • Yeah no one is paying 80 bucks for a 3ah battery. I bought the last packaged one at my local for 25 bucks on clearance, dont even know that they are still selling them?

    • +6

The 3.0 Ah battery is a sealed unit which is rated for water and dust resistance.
Which is why the Ozito window vacs and power washers etc don't have to have the weird battery container that the equivalent Ryobi skins have.

Doesn't come up on the website

Cant find it even after setting my store to some of those showing stock. Shame.

Are these really rhat much better than just using a bucket squeegee and microfibre?

    • I would assume it isn't. It would end up collecting dust on the shelf.

      • +2

We need something to clean them

    • Yeah they are great for novices who can't use manual tools without leaving streaks

    • +1

Yeah, to the most part. I picked it up on clearance for $28 a while back and have used it a lot.

It doesn't clean any better, but it's easier to avoid mess. It has two parts. First is a spray bottle and sponge together in one unit. That's no different to using any spray bottle and sponge. The other part is a squidgee with vac. That works better than you'd think. It's not just that it avoids the mess and the need for a towel. It also avoids streaks really well.

Not saying it's worth more than $50 but it definitely works better than just doing it all manually.

  • Might add it to my ozito collection for the price but the deal is unavailable for me.

I didn't know I needed to vacuum my windows

    • Maybe you don't…
Bought a Onix Rechargeable Window Cleaner for $9.98 on Clearance @Woolies 7 years ago.
(Looks similar to $99 Karcher Window Vacuum.)
Did a great job. Used only a couple of times…

Remembered it when saw this Deal.
Found it. Battery still holding a charge.

  • All everyone else in the other states what is a good alternative?

Karcher WV2 $104 at GG commercial
Einhell Brillianto $109 (for those already in the Ozito PXC battery system)
Bosch Vacsolo Plus $119 (sometimes on sale for under $90)

  • Haven’t cleaned my glass pool fencing in over 12 months. This would have been handy.

    • Just use pressure washer. Ozito.

this thing is great if you get a lot of condensation, easy to dry the windows

Thanks OP, 18 of them available at Cranbourne North VIC 3977 in aisle 18, on the top most shelf near Krasher window cleaner.

  • "Oops! This product is no longer available." I guess that means not at my store.

  • Ive got the karcher one and its a game changer to cleaning my windows.

The trick is to use a bucket of soapy water and simply a microfiber cloth instead of the provided spray and spong bottle, and yive your window a wet wipe down. Then use the vac to finish up.
