this is the Trump on Sol?

    • Sorry they autocorrected my original title ive since corrected it to what it is

    • +1

Yeah it's definitely not their best, at least it doesn't have the whole "hold X amount in your account for X amount of days" aspect which they've been using a lot lately

      • +2

Tried to make a correction but you replied before I could reply.

The bonus is 1%. Trade AU $5000 back and forth to unlock all tiers to earn USDT 65 which equals AU$100.

It isn't really worth it when you include trading fees, spread and CGT imo.

        • Im currently in a back & fourth with their support because my trades aren't tracking but I am seeing the number of completed users going up so it's obviously working for some

          • @BinSimmons: I'll do it now and report back, probably worth it for only a few minutes work.

          • @BinSimmons: Well I stuffed up, I used AUD/USDT pair which isn't even a pair as part of the promo. And the "trade" button against all the tiers isn't even exchange mode in the app. Redid it again and got all credited - 65 USDT in 4 seperate deposits.

            Proof - https://ibb.co/RkDYpBLp

            • @Lucille Bluth: My trade progress bar still just shows the trade button not a percentage despite doing enough trades.
Its so hit & miss with okx these days.

              • @BinSimmons: Mine went to "processing" almost instantly and then "claimed" after reward emails came

  • +3

Its a lot of work for little reward.

    • Took me less than 2 minutes

      • if you dont have 10k you need to wait for your orders to sell at reasonable price.

        • The spread on BTC is very low. I just spammed smaller market orders and only lost $3 on $10k trading volume. Waiting for limit orders to execute can be riskier too if the market moves against you

  • Thanks, not bad if you plan to just buy and hold. $50 AUD fees on $10k trade

  • Spam $1000 market buy/sells on BTC/AUD to get to $10k volume, get around 40-50 AUD for 5mins of effort. Could do it more efficiently with limit orders but that'd take more time and effort

    • Fees?

      • +1

I ended up with $44.8 after fees. I had zero regard for execution price, just buying and selling as quickly as possible. Other pairs have bigger spread so it's probably best to do it on BTC/AUD

        • OK not bad

        • how did you calculate fees? it always shows 0 fees

          • +2

@ujwols: Buy 1000 AUD worth of BTC, then immediately sell that BTC back for AUD.
The difference between whatever you bought and got back is your loss to fees + spread (should equate to about 30c to 70c per $1k) + any price volatility (should be negligible). My fees equated to about $10 for each set of back and forth (1k buy then sell) using market buys.

So I lost $50 generating $10k of vol, but made 65USDT (100 AUD~) from the promo.

  • Never got my PARTI tokens, but at least this promo paid out.

    • Raise a ticket, they are normally pretty good.

    • -1

PARTI tokens are not due until late May

      • Whoever is downvoting: “Rewards will be distributed within thirty (30) working days from 9 April 2025 11:59pm UTC”

  • Wash trade $10,000 in order to get around $40…. Seems terrible and dodgy as hell to be honest.

  • Damn it make a rookie mistake and traded using the “Convert” feature rather than the screen with the order book. Lost around A$100 in fees. I wasn’t thinking :(

    • That's full price

      • Absolutely, and it hurts even more when I am seasoned in crypto :(

  • $47 profit in a few minutes

  • oof.. yeah saw this yesterday and didn't realize other people would head to "convert". They had the wrong link in… was looking for a way to "hack" this eg lower fees. think someone mentioned trading just under $500. Annoying, but cheaper.

Lol they just restricted my account and asked me to complete a survey. Some anti scam thing, now account is under review. Maybe they are onto me, I have made over $1800 from these promos since last year

Downvoting for the trumpcoin inclusion not because “trump” himself, but because this is a vessel for bribes masquerading as a harmless meme coin.

I’ve worked in forensic accounting, and the setup here raises every red flag - anonymous whales can pump the coin and report non-incriminating details of transaction IDs, to directly bribe trump, and whatever other dodgy purpose you could think of.

Promoting it as a bargain tolerating it as a ‘meme coin’ ignores its corrupt purposes. Even if you support Trump the person, you should be against this crap because it normalises hidden corruption by anyone, anywhere.

It's pretty alarming I'm being negged for downvoting a deal that (in part) promotes and incentivises a deliberately corrupt financial instrument, but okay. In case it's because folks don't understand the downvote rules, a significant issue with a product or retailer within a deal is a valid reason (last I checked).

      • -1

Agree, would be nice if there was an explanation to go with the negs. Do I own some $TRUMP? Yes. Do I think it's corrupt? Yes.

        • -1

Thank you! For the record, I didn’t neg you.

Stacked it with the "McLaren Trade to Win" campaign that ran last night for an extra $US15. Spent about $AU50 on trading and received $US80. $AU73 profit.
    Thanks OP!!

    • I don't think you can, McLaren is USDT this is AUD

      • Looks like it's finished now (it was "Event 2: Trade More to Earn More!"), but you just needed to trade equivalent value of 5000 USDT to get $US15. I traded a little over $AU10,000 in BTC/AU and "Claimed" the extra $US15 (ie. I was able to claim rewards from both campaigns at the same time, using the same trades)

        • Good thinking, I forgot about this and thought this promo would be more popular so did the transactions straight away.

They pulled that promo really fast, within hours of it opening.

Stupid amount of risk for the paltry gains after fees, let alone the time and effort factor.

  • Only got around $50 AUD after fees. I deposited 5.1k AUD to trade to hit the 10k spend.

    • why not deposit $1K and do 5 buy/sell trades?
