Every 2 weeks either SB and this offer gives 40% off. LoL

Temu pretty much got kicked out of the US, so they have to upsize to get the cashback punters returning. And of course a portion of which will be denied, and others with less cashback than they're expecting and/or are entitled to as many people don't check. (e.g cashback often excludes GST and other taxes paid)

    IMO prefer aliexpress over temu
the min purchase in temu is quite annoying (its $40 for me)

    • +2

The delivery and returns / dispute process sucks on aliexpress. Makes temu my winner

    • trick is to use app and wait till you get those coupon promos that require 2-3 purchases to qualify. No min spend, just search for the items you want prior to using the promo so those items appear.

    • +1

Aliexpress broke the commitment of 15/90 days free return. You have to paybfor the return shipping fee to HKG and wait for the final decision usually reject your request.

      • when did that happened? I did a return last month and got a free Auspost label to ship the item back

My recent issues with aliexpress all having good outcome:

        • Bought a carrying belt and got missing parts -> refunded without returning https://ibb.co/dJM67q9R
        • Bought a portable monitor but have not received (delivered to wrong address) -> full refunded. https://ibb.co/v6mrnvPQ
        • Bought a 330w charing station but its not working -> returned with free AusPost label, then full refunded. https://ibb.co/SXwxgbtZ
        • This is my experience too, auspost label and refund via PayPal as soon as I hand it over at the post office…

That said, I just looked at it in the app and it started shooting confetti and screaming that it was a priority refund for some reason. Could be a $ spent threshold.

      • I had the same issue for 2 portable monitors. I won't be using them for awhile. Was so annoyed

My last two 40% TEMU cashbacks @ TopCashback didn't track, even though the clicks registered.
Interestingly, all other cashbacks always tracked. It's just these two from Temu.
I lodged the claims but they said it may take a few months.

    • How long has it been and what's the status? I lodged a claim a couple weeks ago and it's at "waiting for response from retailer".

It's over $100 back, so I'm wary of even opening it, and thinking that if it doesn't change in a week or two I'll just send it back and buy it again with a new account if I have to.

      • +3

One claim is about 5 or 6 weeks old and another one is 3 weeks.

      • +3

Takes between 2 to 3 months for claims to be paid. All my claims got paid but yea takes time.

    • My last 3 temu 40% havent tracked but at least they pay out at the end.

      • Same issue of not tracking through Topcashback, why does it take so long to validate?

    • All mine are tracking flawlessly, over a dozen now. Close all open apps then open TCB android app on mobile network connection through to temu mobile web in Chrome mobile.

      • +1

Is there a reason why using a mobile network is ideal?

        • +2

More so to make sure i dont accidently use a connection thats going via a VPN, custom DNS or anything like that which can increase probability of issue. It's more a behavioural thing as i've slipped up before so just removes that chance.

      • Sorry I haven't purchased through TCB app before. So does this mean I need TCB, Temu and Chrome apps installed?

    • same but it did work eventually and i got paid

    • made a ton of purchases through shopback and topcashback. Majority didnt track but I lodged claims. Almost all of topcashback got approved. Shopback denied all of my claims and would not respond why. Never going though them again but happy with topcashback.

  • Hi OP, the T&C’s don’t specifically mention that we should NOT use the Temu mobile app this time - so does mean that we can use the Temu app on iPhone?

I find it a better experience than buying from the Temu website via the internal browser inside the Topcashback app.

    • Has it excluded app use in the past? I'm unaware.

I have been using the TC app > stock Chrome > Temu app for my last few orders and it has been flawless.

      • Ok I just did some comparisons and it’s CashRewards and ShopBack that require you to only use their internal browser via their apps to visit the Temu website. Using the Temu app in their cases will invalidate the cash back tracking.

TopCashback does not explicitly state that you cannot use the Temu app so it’s arguably ok. I’ll screen record the t&c just in case of any disputes.

  • TCB is not good as others which can track all orders easily and accurately

Still waiting on approval from a March order with them, CR approved in like a month.

It tracked perfectly but is just sitting on pending for ever. I know it says up to 18 weeks, but CR only took around 3-4.

  • No New Temu customer 30% off (cap$20)???

  • Still waiting for 5 missing cashback claims to come through. Still placing another order.

  • Good timing. Was waiting for Aliexpress sale. Ordered here instead.

  • Ordered around 1am, cashback havent track yet…

  • Never had an issue with tracking from TopCashback.

Time to buy that San Hima fridge I've been eyeing.

  • Thanks OP, was looking to grab a new controller for the PC, Gamesir Nova Lite seems like a good option for ~$21 after cashback.

  • Silly question but is cashback capped at 1 cashback per account or can you do multiple orders?

    • Multiple orders will track with separate caahbacks

  • +1

There's a $10 off being applied to my cart and the only option to check out is "Check out with coupon". Just wanted to check that it's OK to use a coupon, and that cashback is given on the portion not covered by voucher?

I assume the answer is yes based on this condition "Cashback is ineligible on the portion of orders paid with TEMU credit or vouchers." but wanted to check to see what others have actually experienced.

    • +1

      Vouchers are fine

  • Does the cashback still work if I have the 20% off coupon (TemuCS09) applied to my cart (received from the chat bot for trying to remove the $40 minimum spend)?

    • Can you do the chat via web based? Or app only?

      • +1

I did it from the web.

  • Anyone has got their temu purchase tracked?

    • +1

Got mine tracked in roughly 12 hours since my purchase

    • Not yet for me, ordered around 1pm

      • I ordered just before 11am and it still hasn't tracked.

    • Think on average Temu tracking usually appears between 12-24 hrs after purchase. I wouldn't worry unless it has been longer than 1.5 days.

      • +1

        Tracked after 25 hours.

Took a bit but glad it's tracked now!

        • Mine tracked as well. Similar timeline.

  • What are people buying from Temu these days? Any good stuff, please share

  • I bought an ebike from temu on 9th Feb.
    $671 cash back.
Finally got confirmed this week now it says 18 weeks estimated payable

    • Which ebike can you please share.

    • That's really crazy man….to wait that long and then another 18 weeks on top.

      • +1

        Jansno X50.
        It was a local delivery.
I've done 700kms on it and it's lots of fun.
Range with highest pedal assist is 25km.
        Top speed 45kmh

I would consider the x70 if I was buying again as it basically the same bike with dual battery

  • Tracked 20 hours later.

I added 2 items using one click pay after my initial order and they don't get tracked

    • Oh you should not have done that. I avoid one click pay at all cost.

      • They were only small items and did it to test

  • I didn't empty my cart, and used both a $10 coupon and an offer to get a couple of items for basically free, and it still tracked. Spent $40.xx, reported as $34.xx, cashback of $13.xx.

  • Mine hasn’t tracked so had to do 12 claims for the 12 items I bought :(

    • How can you lounge 12 claims? after submitting the 1st missing cashback claim
it seems the click "date and time" is no longer able to be selected in the next missing cashback claim?

      @tightarse can you clarify? Thanks!

      • “If you have purchased more than one item, TEMU requires you to submit a separate claim per item.”
When lodging first claim there’s a link beneath asking if I’ve bought more than one item and if so lodge another claim. Timestamp was still available for me maybe it’s temperamental.

  • No tracking here either, my streak is broken.

This will be my first claim through TC, kind of curious about it.

    • same here - no tracking :(

@Hiphopopotamus - have you lodge the claim with TCB?

my order had 12 items in one transaction - do I need to submit 1 claim per item?

      • Not yet.

Yep, 1 claim per item. Luckily mine is only 4 or 5.

  • 6 orders, not tracked last 40%…
    Temu is up to something…
