Hi everyone
Any cheap ways to get annual vacation for cats?I have two indoor adult cats based in Sydney. Say something like $50 per cat?
Open to options thanks.

Monash does $20 for cats, includes health exam as well. Bargain compared to vet fees for the same service.
Such a great way to spend ratepayers money (esp when most do not own cats)! /s
I assume its partly to encourage pet registrations.
encourage pet registrations
To what end? How does that benefit ratepayers / residents at large?
@tenpercent: Well for one it’s about $150 annual registration fee in most Melbourne councils and once you’ve registered your pet they’ll chase you for it each year. A lot of indoor cat owners I assume just never register their pet and avoid that cost.
Free vaccinations with Healthy Pets Plus membership. Greencross Vets where you live?
Sydney animal hospitals does a thing called LifeVac where you pay one upfront fee which covers a lifetime of annual vaccinations for cats and dogs. It is $575 for a cat, so if your cat lives another 10 years then I guess it will cost you $57.50 per year.

How old are the cats? Both fixed up?
If they never get to leave your property (which is the right situation) and you have no cats jumping your fence why bother?
They are indoor cats, what are they going to catch from inside your property?!?
If OP ever uses a cattery, travels with them, etc., they will need to be vaccinated.
In my experience "indoor cats" is usually a partial truth.
It usually comes with ' my kitty is let out twice a day to toilet. I'm sure he never goes anywhere, and he certainly would never eat wildlife. Sadly the data never backs that myth up. Responsible ownership rarely requires third party forum opinions
I knew you could get a vaccine for COVID.
I didn't know you could get a vaccine for cats.
I knew you could get a vaccine for COVID
…. Do you know that there are there vaccines that's not for covid, and have been around for much longer? Hopefully you're just trolling.
Save money have no cats
FTFY
Save money and wildlife, have no cats.
tOo mAnY kiTtiEz! 🤪
Lot of councils do free vaccinations for pets (at least in Melbourne)
