Reolink Smart 2K+/5MP Wired PoE Video Doorbell with Chime $99 via Special Order + Delivery ($0 Pickup) @ Bunnings

400

Been looking at this for awhile and this is the cheapest I have seen from an Australian retailer. Can be had cheaper on Aliexpress from time to time.

Perfect timing since my Tapo system has decided to stop recording again… Now to find deals on POE cameras I guess.

  • These work great with 1-2 1240A cameras.

They're not so great in the dark but coupled with the above not even the neighbours cat gets past.

  • Thanks op. See goodguys also got same price if someone got gc. I just had a voucher $30 off but in store $100.

Isn't it the white one with the vertical aspect ratio, and the black horizontal?

"Opt for the black doorbell featuring a 4:3 aspect ratio for an expansive horizontal view if your home enjoys an open landscape. For houses with narrow porches, the white one is the perfect fit. With a 3:4 aspect ratio, it captures visitors from head to toe and also keeps an eye on packages left at your doorstep."

      • Oh wow, I didn’t know that. Thanks!

can the white PoE version be bought at this price? as I want the vertical FOV not horizontal

    thanks

  • Have the black version Poe for a few years now and super happy with it. Best bang for buck doorbell on the market!

  • For some reason my reolink cameras are compatible with Google nests, but not this doorbell. Happy with it boneless, super easy to set up with POE

    • Now just need to run another cable. Got a camera already and a RING that I will be replacing. Perhaps just use the door camera and move camera elsewhere. Also reolink.

  • When is a 4k version coming?

  • can you install these yourself if you want/need to run the ethernet cable inside the roof or do you need licensed cabler

    • +3

Bit of grey area. Especially because there is power in the line. I will say yes you need licenced cabler. Saying that, be careful up there.

        thanks Mikael @Mikael

  • Hi everyone, does anyone know if I can use Alexa Echo to watch who’s at the door? I also have an LG TV with Alexa built-in. Will this work with the TV to show who’s at the door once I press the button?

  • I'm currently using the Poe version, and it works really well. Compared to the Ring doorbell I used before, its biggest advantage is that it doesn't require any subscription service. And paired with Reolink's NVR, it enables 7*24 recording.

  • Anyone got theirs? How long usually for click and collect for this item. On Bunnings says order taken. I know different for different areas. In WA. Might look for another week or so.

    • Some can take quite a long time, still haven't got mine. Ordered an ozito vacuum filter and it took over a month, special order can be hit and miss.
