5080

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! If you haven't joined TCB, do so today to enjoy the most generous everyday cashback rates and a highest cashback guarantee! We have a heap of awesome increases on right now, so please browse the site prior to buying.

Today we're offering a $5 bonus when you shop and spend at least $30 in a single transaction at any of our online retailers (*excluding all VPN retailers). Ensure you first activate the bonus, then check the terms for your retailer of choice prior to clicking/tapping the pink cashback button as each may have specific conditions around code use, purchase or use of gift cards, product exclusions etc. Some examples here:

  • Amazon has all categories eligible for cashback & bonus (rates increased today, see terms on retailer page).
  • Use of any eBay coupon codes will be ineligible for cashback & bonus (see terms on retailer page).
  • AliExpress affiliated products only are eligible for cashback & bonus (see terms on retailer page).
  • BIG W has $50 minimum spend requirement (see terms on retailer page).

Promo ends 23:59 AEST today (13/05/2025).

Thanks for your support as always 🙏
Stay safe, and enjoy 😊

Please read the following terms & handy tips carefully:

1. To participate in the $5 bonus cashback promotion, you must first be a member of TopCashback.com.au and must activate the offer prior to making a single eligible transaction of $30 or more through one of our retailers.
2. After activation, transaction must be made between 00:00 and 23:59 AEST (13/05/2025).
3. Cashback is eligible at any retailer advertised (excluding VPN retailers) on TopCashback, provided the terms for that retailer are adhered to. Use of any codes not listed on TopCashback will invalidate the offer.
4. Your order must be made in a single transaction and may contain more than one item, but the order total must be at least $30 (inclusive of GST, and excluding shipping). Some retailers report orders excluding GST so the amount shown in your TopCashback account may be less than $30 (this is ok). Multiple items in an order may report as separate items in your account for retailers such as Amazon & eBay (this is ok).
5. The bonus cashback will show as a separate entry in your TopCashback account once your order tracks, and will be payable once your order is payable. Tracking is not instant and may take up to 7 days to report.
6. The bonus cashback is over and above any retailers' advertised cashback rates.
7. Tell-a-Friend, sign-up bonuses, free cashback retailers and new member deals will not count as a purchase towards the bonus cashback.
8. Only one TopCashback.com.au account per person is allowed, and bonus cashback is limited to one per TopCashback member.
9. The bonus cashback may not automatically apply to purchases where a missing cashback claim needs to be lodged. If this is the case and your claim is successful, you may need to raise a separate support ticket to be awarded the bonus.
10. Do not lodge a missing cashback claim until at least 7 days have passed.
11. TopCashback will not be held responsible for any technical failure or otherwise which prevents participation in this promotion.
12. Where a contradiction exists between the offer terms & conditions and TopCashback terms & conditions, the offer terms & conditions take precedence until the offer expires.
13. Any fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Handy tips:

Tracking can take anywhere up to 7 days, depending on retailer. For tracking success, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost. TopCashbackAU must be the very last click/tap prior to purchase. Try our iOS/Android mobile app for improved tracking results. Use our contact form here for any questions or issues. Claims can be submitted here.

      • -3

Why would you use a wireless charger?

        • +19

          To charge wirelessly.

          • +4

@JownehFixIT: Less efficient, slower, heats up your battery. Just use a cable.

            • @Bdawg: If its heating up your battery there is possibly something wrong with your charger or alignment. Magsafe largely overcomes the alignment issue. A reputable wireless charger will also switch off when signalled to do so by the phone. So overheating needn't be a problem.

Why I prefer wireless charging is it doesn't require a mechanical action (inserting the cable), which over time causes wear and tear. In my experience this wear often leads to failure (poor/broken cable connection). Also cable breakage/fraying.

            • +2

@Bdawg: I do, I was just answering your question :-)

        • My Oppo AirVOOC wireless charger doesn't make my mobile hot, and I go from 0% to 80% in under 30 minutes.

      • Can you tell me more about pet collars? Does aliexpress do good ones?

    • +1

Temu is 25% for existing too

      • +2

        I wish it was 40%

    • +1

Would have paired nicely with yesterdays 14% Ali cashback too, when I placed my orders :D

  • Ahh just placed an order on Ali last night

  • Combine with the Amazon discount hopefully

    • +2

Cashback is ineligible if using any Amazon credit as partial or full payment. Includes *promotional credits

  • -2

Can we buy Amazon gift cards?
I can't see that gift cards are excluded.

    • +6

As stated in the OP, please ensure you read the relevant retailer page terms. For Amazon:

      https://www.topcashback.com.au/amazon/

Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases.

  • +2

Would this work with Amazon spin the wheel deal?

    • +12

If you apply the credit you won then no. Please see terms:

      https://www.topcashback.com.au/amazon/

Cashback is ineligible if using any Amazon credit as partial or full payment. However cashback is eligible if using Amazon gift cards or gift card balance as payment.

      • +2

        thanks for clarifying

    • i wanted to know as well, thanks

  • +4

Would this still work if I cashback match the (later today) upsized ebay base rate from SB?

    • @tightarse could you please confirm if cashback guarantee/match is eligible with this bonus offer?

      • How does it work normally.. you purchase then have to email them proof or something?

  • +2

Does this work with Amazon JP products through Amazon au. Wipers (automotive) specifically

    • +2

I have the same question about Amazon US via AU

  • +1

Damn, jumped on the 14% Ali CB last night and made heaps of purchases… Would have been nice if this were included alongside the original Ali upsize.

  • Will I receive cashback from Everyday market or Mydeal if I use my rewards points to pay for it?

    • Doubt this. Made mine using card.

Don't forgot about the code if capable.

  • -1

    How to activate?

  • @TA Is Everyday Market working for TCB? Heard about the issues on shopback but not sure if TCB is facing the same issue of not tracking/tracking at $0.00.

    • +5

Hi. We're having the same issue with orders tracking at $0 sale value for Everyday Market. I actually pinged Woolworths about this on Friday and they assured me there's nothing to worry about as they will correct all affected orders once a fix is put in place (sometime this week). I've not had any further updates since then so please proceed at your own discretion. Cheers.

      • +1

        Cheers mate

    • +1

An update. Orders I'm seeing today for Everyday Market are now showing a sale value and tracking at 20%. However those prior to today are still stuck on $0 sale value. Hopefully Woolies fixes this soon.

  • +1

Hi, Can you confirm what you mean by retailer? Is agoda or trip.com a retailer?

    • +3

I call them retailers, but also called stores, advertisers & merchants. Yep, all in the same basket :)

      • +1

thanks, just wanted to double check!

  • +1

Shopback currently offering a higher cashback on Virgin Australia flight bookings. Would TCB match it now, or I have to submit the highest cashback guarantee claim later?

    • would like to know this as well

    • +1

Just submit the claim later. Gonna do this myself for BWS (27% @ SB) to get this $5 bonus.

      • +2

        @kyle @ThatNintendoKid

Cashback on domestic fares is now higher, and will be honoured if you purchased at the lower rate.

        • Well done!!! Thanks TA

  • Hi, can I pay with an Amazon gift card?

  • No more chemist warehouse?

    • +1

Probably because they are promoting Shopback Pay.

      • +18

No, not at all. Chemist Warehouse Online tracking broke for all publishers in early March after they made some changes to site. Their affiliate channel has been working since to sort out (and test) the fix. From the last update I received, we should have them back very soon.

    • Back on Cashrewards.

      • Chemist Warehouse is back on TopCashback too.

  • +1

Can get woolies order and stack with 2000 bonus points. Decent bargain since I don't need anything else.

    • What 2000 bonus point offer?

      • +1

Targeted offer. Check your EDR account(s).

For cashback, eGC can not be used, upfront $3 down for $50 spend. When the order cannot be fulfilled, the 2000 bonus pts may not be credited for $49 spend. I think the gain is little for this TCB bonus considering the risk.

        • I see, thanks for clarifying

    • Great idea!
Stacked with 2000 on $50 online bonus (week 1/1), 2000 on $50 online bonus (week 1/3), 500 points. Ordered safe items which should be all fulfilled. TCB then effectively covers the $4 delivery.

    If they pay out*

Essentially their policy is if they get stuffed over, you get stuffed over, despite that being against consumer law.

Cashrewards > ShopBack > TopCashback I’ve found in terms of actually tracking properly AND paying out correctly

    • +1

Plenty of payouts here including one received yesterday That's over $1000 since September last year.

      • +1

Low risk retailers pay out fine in my experience, it’s stuff like Temu and aliexpress I constantly have to lodge tickets and argue with them.

As an example, still have 2 pending aliexpress cashbacks from November with TCB. Similar issues with TCB UK.

I understand they’re likely having issues with the retailer paying out, but that’s not my issue - they should negotiate stricter contracts. I’ve only had one instance where it hasn’t tracked, so it’s not like that’s the issue.

VPN deals, SIM cards, all that goes through without a hassle

Overall over $3,000 Cashback on ShopBack with from memory 2 issues, one they decided to half pay other declined to assist. No issues with CR. Many ongoing issues with TCB, notably Temu orders are the worst.

        • +1

For AliExpress this is a crucial step that must be done.

Confirmation of goods received must be made in your AliExpress account within 90 days of placing your order to be eligible for cashback.

Once confirmed the funds are released to the seller.

        • what are you running? drop shipper?

          • +1

@shap08: To be fair I have not used cashback sites lately as much as I should.

            drop shipper?

            No. I'm just a shopaholic.

        • +1

This works fine if it’s low risk purchases (VPN Cashback for example), I highly doubt many of these are from Temu or Aliexpress though

My main issue is how their stance is if the retailer doesn’t pay, you don’t get paid. I never accepted to that; I complied with the terms stated on their site. Their contract with the affiliate / retailer is nothing to do with me. At worst they should negotiate stricter contracts with affiliates so it’s not constantly hit and miss.

Even if they name and shamed retailers (ie published unexplainable denied statistics), I could then at least make conscious decisions as to which risks I take.

tl;dr: their stance is cashback isn’t guaranteed, I highly dislike that. If I comply with terms, it should be guaranteed.

    • TCB has been the best of all 3 for me. Sometimes you should consider user error. Even I make mistakes sometimes.

      • +1

It tracks fine, I comply with terms, no user error.

Their response is usually literally “idk the retailer made an excuse not to pay us sorry” essentially. No mention of advertised terms being breached, and it tracks fine

ShopBack did similar on a Temu order recently, but as a “gesture of good will” paid out half the owed Cashback. Their excuse was “the retailer denied it based on their own policy”, with no mention of any ShopBack policies breached.

        • Just because it tracks fine, doesn't mean you met the terms.

Classic example. Buy something from Target online with gift cards, and the purchase will track a $ amount. When it comes time to pay out, it will decline due to gift cards.

Edit: Ok so Temu lol. It's well known Temu/Aliexpress randomly deny cashbacks. This isn't a SB/CR/TCB issue, its a shitty affiliate issue. Hot tip, don't get sucked in and buy from them.

          • @Repstar:

            I comply with terms

Yes, mainly the high risk retailers, ie Temu/AliExpress where there's no real reason for denial. Have had similar with ShopBack, but they paid out half (I think out of their own pocket) as a resolution.

            • @Dyl: After reading your comments, I hope you're not buying from Temu or AliExpress via TopCashback. Choose a low risk retailer for this $5 offer.

I'm not a Temu customer but it appears that Temu is worst for tracking and quality of products compared to AliExpress. I shop at AliExpress and TopCashback has paid the cashback. I found TopCashback to be the most reliable and has the best customer service compared to Cashrewards and ShopBack.

              • +1

                @trixieb: Yeah, went with Amazon

I don’t bother with high risk retailers on ShopBack anymore, they don’t bat for you against their affiliates for declined cashback. ShopBack doesn’t either, but the one issue I had they just paid half the amount and considered it settled.

Cash Rewards my Temu cashback came through after 3 weeks (not 18) with no issues at all

  • Hi, Does it work for buying goods with Subscribe & Save in Amazon? Thanks!

    • I don't think so.

    • +3

      First delivery, yes

Terms say second and subsequent are ineligible

    • +1

Yes it does, first delivery only.

Used to buy chemise warehouse for these kind of offer:(

  • -1

would quoted purchase from lenovo be eligible for the $5 bonus cashback?

    • +1

Per the OP, please read the retailer terms:

      https://www.topcashback.com.au/lenovo/

Assisted or negotiated deals via phone/email/chat are ineligible for cashback. To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

  • TA still the cashback GOAT

  • My multiple orders from AliExpress tracked within 10 minutes, Thanks TA.

  • Thanks TA! Love these offers.

  • No more Chemist Warehouse :(

  • +1

Does it stack with the $15 off $75 purchase voucher for myDeal listed in the TCB website?

    • +3

code listed on TCB so I would think so

    • Good question and good finding.

      I think so.

Bought something with FRENZY15. Let's see.

      • +1

The code FRENZY15 will stack with MyDeal cashback. Posted the offer here.

  • Thinking ahead - the super cheap auto 25% off discount is coming today at 5-10pm. I wonder if the SAVE code will be eligible for topcashback and this as well?

Ie will the SAVE code for 25% off discount at 5-10pm be added to the codes eligible for top cashback? Or do we have to wait till 5pm to find out. Thanks

    • Have the same question!

  • Will using Woolworths Extra Discount 10% code track when using at Big W via Top Cashback?

  • +2

Will using the Amazon ccredit obtained from yesterday's Spin the Wheel deal invalidate this cashback promotion?

EDIT: should've read comments. The answer is: it WILL invalidate

    • Promotional credit renders it ineligible, gift cards however don’t

Depends if it’s a promotional credit (will say at checkout) or from gift card balance

Terms of that one say it’s a promotional credit

      • "Cashback is ineligible if using any Amazon credit as partial or full payment. However cashback is eligible if using Amazon gift cards or gift card balance as payment."

    • Did not see option to not apply the amazon spin wheel discount

  • Will I be eligible for this if I take out a PHI cover?

  • +1

It's very sad that TCB is still unable to build a gift card platform after so many months.
With the exclusion of gift cards, I always struggle to find something actually worth to buy in this kind of bonus deal.

    • Even if they had built such platform, they would exclude it from the offer, else they'd lose money big time.

With the exclusion of gift cards, I always struggle to find something actually worth to buy in this kind of bonus deal.

Pro-tip. For non-urgent purchases, I keep a list for these bonus times.
