  • Nice I’ll give it a try later

  • 1585 copies left….

  • I got a license from this deal but haven't downloaded/redeemed yet: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/901490

How does it differ from this deal?

Also that deal said it gave away VideoProc Converter but instead I got Winxvideo code, how do they even differ?

  • +3

Does this let you zoom and enhance, or merely enhance?

  • +4

unable to activate, error says "email or license code is incorrect. Please double check"

  • +3

Error code 400 when I try to activate it

  • +10

For those with the error, the link in the activation email to download takes you to the wrong application (AI Image Matting).

Make sure you are downloading the AI Image Enhancer. The code will work then :)

      @chakka32 @KenDiaMoi

    • Excellent spotting mate

      • Thanks @Pelicannn, working

    • Thank you love you

    • FWIW the email directed me to the correct version, albeit further down the page. See here

Agree it's not that intuitive if you don't lookout for the title of the software though.

  • Same. Error code 400 when I try to activate it. Email or license code is incorrect.

    • See my comment above.

        • Whatever floats your boat mate.

still error code 400. Tried all solutions

  • I was able to activate the software but the tool does not work at all. It throws "Inference failed" error for all the photos. My computer's specs is above the minimum system requirements.

    • +1

I can confirm it does work on PC. Just while downloading select the correct software, as there is two to select, make sure to select "Aiarty Image Enhancer" and not the Matting one

    • Make sure when you download the install file from their offer registration page you are downloading the correct version.
https://www.aiarty.com/release/aiarty-image-enhancer-install… is the correct v2.6 for Windows and is found on the "Download Your Setup File" link..
https://www.aiarty.com/release/aiarty-image-enhancer.exe is the latest version found on the download button on the top of their page and the generated keys will not work with this.

  • Worked fine on Macbook, was just about to load a photo onto a birthday card, used this tool and got a much better image.

So finally we're at the "enhance!!" part of the timeline in movies which I always called bs on.
    Welcome to the future.

  • Downloaded it successfully using the link in the email - you just have to scroll down to the AI Image Enhancer software which has the correct version to download.

Tested on a poor quality photo from my library taken on an iPhone6 back in late 2014. Photo was blurry and small. The software did an amazing job of increasing the sharpness and adding back details with smoothing (whilst not looking to AI smoothed) and also upscaled it to twice the size.

Tested a couple of the modes and they work excellently. Really useful piece of software imo.

    Cheers OP!

Remember, if the product is free, you are the product. Thanks for participating in training their AI with your image data. (I did too)

  • Also just seen there is a free version to download of the Aiarty Image Matting software (for Windows at least).

    Available here

    • 15 day trial though

      • It's a 1 year licence from the email:
"Please activate it ASAP. You can use Aiarty Image Matting V2.0 for 1 year after activation.
Afterward, it will be an unregistered version with some restrictions."

  • Would this work on old grainy manga with barely legible words in terms of enhancing legibility?

    Upscayl is free and great
    https://upscayl.org/

    • Pricing: Not free?

      • +1

Looks like the Cloud version is free (possibly has limitations, can't see) while it's in beta.

      • +2

I use the locally installed desktop version that is completely free.

        https://upscayl.org/download

        Or

        https://github.com/upscayl/

There are six built in AI models, though more can be added. Each model has strengths and weaknesses that may show either across the whole image or parts of the image that other models will deal with better of worse. I tend to upscale images using all 6 models, then add them to my graphics editor (I use Affinity Photo, but Gimp will work, or even Photoshop if you are rich or unfortunate) as separate layers and average them, turn off layers as desired or mask out areas in different layers where regions are worse or better, then add layers over the top where I add my own repairs/enhancements using content aware fill, clone tool, and various other options according to need.

        • I ended up trying this and unfortunately it's pretty bad unless the image is extremely noisy. I tried all models but every one but Remaci kills a tonne of the original image's details… So why wouldn't I just use Remaci? Well, it leaves the image extremely aliased and kills blacks (making them greyish). I did have some okay results by using Remaci at 1x then using my custom (non-AI) MPV shaders to upscale but at that point you might as well look for something better.

          • @AreYouAWiiizard: It depends on the picture. Different models work for different styles. None of them are a silver bullet.

I don't know anything about MPV shaders but I have had results that are respectable, good enough for fanart.tv who are incredibly picky.

Like I said, I will often do extra work to improve upscaled images. I will often go over crease lines in faces to de-emphasise harsh results.

    • Or look at
      https://alternativeto.net/software/upscayl/

Down voting because the process seems quite dodgy, as others have commented.

Downvoting this deal because the company is being deliberately deceptive. False scarcity - the 'remaining free licenses' in the giveaway is constantly fluctuating. eg last night it said 200 remaining (for me), then this morning it says 1200 remaining. I hate this kind of dodgy BS. The product itself is probably fine, but they are clearly giving away old versions to attempt to upsell you to the newer subscription model. Make of this what you will!

  • I downloaded the software and activated it last night no problem. Today I tried opening the software again and it is de-activated again, and when I put in the same email and activation code that I was sent last night in the email, it doesnt work.

    • I just checked mine and it worked again today without needing to re-enter the key. Strange yours seemed to reset.

I'm surprised that none of the IT professionals here have canned this?!

The website is dodgy AF with no mention of any company details in the T&Cs, Privacy or Refunds.

It looks like some dodgy mob in China running it, and downloading free software is an awesome way to get viruses.

Is there something that everyone knows that makes them comfortable with this?
