    Anyone can help me?
Bought this one, but I can’t connect it to my MacBook Pro with USB c connection
It tells me to remove some devices but I have no others

If I connect my old MacBook Pro I have no issues using hdmi connection.
Unfortunately my new one does not have a hdmi connection

    • The USB drivers for it may only be on windows. you can get away with a hdmi to usb c dongle

      one example

Make sure you use a USB-C cable that specifically supports video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode), I tried one and it was only charging the laptop and not showing video so I had to switch to a different one.

u have link for the cable u're using? thx

Sorry I just grab random USB-C cable I had until one worked and none of them are particular branded or label, you will need USB-C cable that is at least USB 3.1 Gen 2 in order to support DP Alt Mode however they still need to said they support it, otherwise I believe USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 require it to be supported if you want to be sure without it saying so.

    • Not sure if this will help but Maybe grab the LG Switch app
Its listed under USB-C for this monitor.

Picked one up from JB. Using this monitor as my 2nd portrait on the left side and loving it. Have 32 Dell 165 IPS for main and can tell you LG good as my Dell.

Will get another one from JB and make another portrait on the right and then my work/gaming setup all done.

Thanks OP and others for recommending the monitor!

computer gods: what am i missing? just connected my work dell laptop to the monitor and it says 15w isn't good enough; needs to have 65w and nothing shows on screen. thx

    • Not sure if this will help but Maybe grab the LG Switch app
Its listed under USB-C for this monitor.

This is the exact issue I had, and as stated above make sure you use a USB-C cable that specifically supports video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode), you will need USB-C cable that is at least USB 3.1 Gen 2 in order to support DP Alt Mode however they still need to said they support it, otherwise I believe USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 require it to be supported if you want to be sure without it saying so.

Also you will still need to connect the power cable to it as the monitor can only provide 15w whereas the laptop you have need 65w (same as mine - is your a Dell too?), I haven't tested how long it can run for using the USB-C monitor cable only.

Alternative as mentioned by vid_ghost just use the HDMI connection if you have one.

For those skeptical about the USB-C input in the monitor:

I can confirm that a capable USB-C cable will allow a display connection in lieu of an HDMI connection.

  • Also, if you're using a Mac (a Mac Mini M4 in my case), I can't speak highly enough of a powerful, open-source application called 'BetterDisplay' (link below). This will allow maximum configuration options of any monitor being used and very importantly solve resolution scaling issues.
