When exactly will S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition be available on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox?

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition will be available May 20, 2025 on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC on GOG, Epic Games Store, and Steam. All owners of the game will receive a separate edition of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition in their Steam and GOG libraries, which will be available for download immediately. If you do not have the complete collection, you will receive the updated version only for the games you have in your library. If you don't have any classic S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games in your library and if you want to buy the games or the collection, you'll get the classic three games for free when you purchase S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition.

    Unfortunately there aren't any big sales on at the moment, though you can get a cheap Steam key if you don't mind unofficial resellers.

    Edit: It's also being added to PS+ Extra/Deluxe this month.

      I have the classic ones in my Steam library and just checked since this came at the top of the ozb homepage today, I have entries for the 3 classics and 3 enhanced editions but I do not have S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition so I'm not sure what OP is talking about when they wrote "If you do not have the complete collection, you will receive the updated version only for the games you have in your library." I don't think there is a seperate game that's just a bundle?

        That wording is taken directly from their FAQ.

        The trilogy is available separately or as a bundle.

        I remember back in steam infancy days we could add games from disk's, had to go through approval process BUT was easy to transfer game under steam. Good times before steam.

            @Guybrush57: Obviously killed it when market domanence occurred.

            You needed the game installed then needed the key that came with the game and you needed to input the key when prompted. Must have killed it years ago…. Shit I purchased half-life with steam cd and here we are…. Sold our souls.

            @Guybrush57: They worked with the publishers of a few specific games to let you enter your CD keys from those games to activate on Steam. You didn't need the original game installed to activate it.

            Here is a list of what games are supported:

            The latest games to support this feature were from when Games for Windows Live lost support from Microsoft and retailers wanted to republish them on Steam. Bioshock 2 for instance.

            I must admit i'm surprised to see Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on that list, never knew those keys were accepted on Steam.

              @Agret: I remember the feature. I thought Kiro was talking about something else. I'm surprised to learn it's been killed off. I think I activated my copy of Prey back in the day.

      You should still be able to activate the serial keys on Steam, like I did back in the day with my retail versions.

    So I have "Clear Skies, Call of Prypiat, and Shadow of Chernobyl." All three have an "Enhanced Edition" in my library but what is this "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone?"
    Even on ITAD they only have a listing for it on GOG. They must only be releasing it on GOG with it's own store page, as Steam seem to have only released an Enhanced edition for each title separately. I suppose the full picture will emerge when it gets officially released.
