Have applied it. But does not appear seem to appear on the invoice. Shows the amount to be deducted but does not seem to apply at the final checkout. May not apply possibly for this clearance item. Or maybe have applied save30 on purchases of over$250. ( They currently have a $30 off $250 spend with code SAVE30)
I doubt it’s clearance it’s the 6 pack price, incorrectly put on a 24 pack.
The taxes on 24 are far more than $30
The excise rate for it is $104.31 per litre of alcohol.
24 x 330ml @ 4% = 24 x 330 / 100 x 4 = 316.8ml of alcohol
Excise: $104.31 / 1000 x 316.8ml = $33.05
GST: $30 / 11 = $2.73
Excise + GST: $35.78

@SirFrankGrimes: I went in store to try my luck at Dan's, nearly succeeded but then the cashier said it would be illegal. Apparently they can deny their "Price Beat Guarantee" at their own discretion, or if the price could facilitate "excessive consumption." The latter eems a bit counterintuitive considering they're always claiming to give you piss at the cheapest price and they sell goon bags
Went to Liquorland after but they didn't have enough to form a carton and probably wouldn't have honoured it even if they had, but it was worth a shot. Went home with a carton of Cass instead

Everyone making a big fuss about this, contacting customer care etc, is just going to ruin anyone else's chances of picking up their order later today.
Coles didn’t honour my order. I added a Ginger Beer along with other items just to meet the Click & Collect minimum. Everything else was packed, but the Ginger Beer was missing. I went into First Choice, which is right next to Coles, and saw they had it in stock.
I contacted customer care, spoke to both the First Choice and Coles managers—each blamed the other. After wasting 90 minutes of my Friday evening going in circles, I got nowhere.
At this point, I’m seriously questioning whether I deserve my OzBargain membership—clearly failed the bargain mission this time.
The battle scars of missed bargains is what gets you membership in the first place.
