I wish they didn't discontinue the happy hour codes… I was enjoying getting myself a family pizza and 1.25L drink delivered for $20-$22.
There's like 1 restaurant in my area that doesn't have the menulog service fees which is amazing.

Yeah, I think the combo of $7 off, free delivery and $0 service fees (Delivered by restaurant locations) was too much and they cut it off.

      • Speaking of delivered by restaurant locations. You wouldn't happen to know an extension or a tampermonkey script that filters which restaurant's deliver their own food? I know in the past with the OLD menulog layout from like 2020 had the ability to filter out which restaurant's delivered their own food… the new layout seems to have gotten rid of this feature. It's not even on the phone application either…. which pisses me off honestly.

I like to order from places that deliver their own food because these menulog/doordash/uber eat drivers always seem to deliver very slowly… like it's mandatory making the food go cold most of the time.

        • I don't know of any way to filter them, I just order from the same 2 places anyway, but it would be nice to check out others. I just open the restaurants now and look at the delivery fee to assume if they are delivered by menulog or not. Menulog is usually like $1.99 over $x or $5.99 under $x, restaurant usually flat like $5, $10 and not tiered.

Over the years the codes are slowly getting worse, higher minimum spend, etc. Part of the business model as they become entrenched.
They've probably made a net loss on my orders over that time, but I only use it for pick up when the price beats the walk in price.

Yep.I remember back then they were releasing launch/dinner codes up to $15 off orders. That was some of the best times to use Menulog. This was when they were having Katy Perry advertise them. When they got rid of her that's when the deals got crap…

Let's not forget the time when Menulog scammed a bunch of people when they had a campaign going where people could win a free voucher. That was when they were doing the "Money money money" campaign. Nobody ever did get that voucher and menulog never did come out with an apology over that scam.
